There is a black doctor but that was in the books. It didn't seem that bad but I didn't watch all of it or really much of it.

My wife watched all of it and liked it. It's supposedly closer to the actual books than the original series was. I caught bits and pieces of it. One scene where a black business woman was rejected from a ladies group cause being black, was about the worst I saw but I didn't really watch much...
