2015+ 4cylinder Mustang isn't a big car and doesn't drive like muscle, has ~310 hp/3500lbs. Can probably find convertible+6speed that hasn't been beaten to shit, unlike the GTs.

Assuming you don't just blow the engine, the rest of an old Miata (tires, brakes, radiator) isn't built enough for that extra power. Mustangs from 2010 still had live axle and drive more like vintage muscle. 350Z is starting to get pretty affordable

They aren't good cars anymore. Since they were bought by Renault quality fell off a cliff, those JATCO CVTs in almost every Nissan are probably the worst transmissions in the world. That's why they compete with Chrysler for the ghetto market.
