I actually 100% agree with this. I can and do eat all sorts of garbage, but there is something weird about Takis. Maybe it's whatever they use to get the neon colors? Whatever it is, it's off-putting and I'll take a Doritos Dinamita over a Taki any day.

Bennigans' Monte Cristo was the primary reason for my childhood obesity. We went there often and I'd demolish the Monte Cristo every time at like 7 years old.

Newman's Own pasta sauce is one of the only sauces that tastes good and isn't insanely expensive. You can get jars for like $3.00. The rest of the pasta sauce aisle is filled with Prego/Ragu watery shit for about the same price, or stuff like Rao's that is $7.00/jar for some reason.

Friendly's is about the worst ice cream you could buy. It's only a tier above those giant buckets of nondescript ice creams that PTA moms buy for school functions. And at least those have nostalgia factor going for them.

Trader Joes stuff is hit or miss. They've got some awesome frozen stuff, especially if you're into Indian food. However, their chip selection is the worst of any grocery store I've experienced. Super small selection and the ones they have are mostly garbage tier.

I've also had a few bags of the Baja Blast Doritos. First bag I was meh, but they've grown on me. Kind of a refreshing, summer taste akin to Cool Ranch, but a bit breezier.

I think drive thru is a big reason people still get traditional fast food. People are lazy and pay a bit more to not have to park, walk in, and pick up a to-go order. Plus the expectation of a tip on top of the price (though that is creeping into fast food, too). Curbside pick-up is a thing...
