    Nintendo Switch (previously NX)

We're two weeks from launch and It's kind of sad that I know more about the Switch through my friend at nVidia than what's been publicly released. I'll pass on it for now, the minor graphical upgrades for Breath of the Wild don't seem worth it.

I suspect that is what I am going to do as well. Nintendo is screwing this up badly.

Will the graphics for Zelda actually be noticeably better than the Wii U version?

For all of you who play Pharah:

    Overwatch

I've noticed that as a season goes on, game quality in ranked gradually goes down the shitter due to people not caring about ranking up because the end of season rewards are based on your highest rank and many people know they won't get higher or back up to their rank.

    Poll Who here hates raiding?

Raiding is... Fine I suppose? I think it's one area of MMO's that can be revolutionized but when and how that happens I have no clue.

Re: Pharah. A good Pharah will require multiple people to take down. Obviously you need a Soldier 76 or McCree but you will also want a Zenyatta or an Ana helping you. If you want to climb play Zenyatta. He's a DPS that shreds tanks and heals. This is my wife's first fps and she's at 3300 and...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

In 50 hours I've had one bug, which is that combat bug. It required me to run back and kill the buggers. Insofar as the story is concerned, at least the story they were trying to tell this time around was solid unlike FFXIII. I think I linked it earlier but this summarizes the entire plot with...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

Two things you need to know. The first is that there's a bunch of hidden stuff in combat, you don't need to know it to finish the game but look up a guide to learn some of the more intricate parts since it'll make combat more fun (namely, use control scheme B or C so you can better block and...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

95% of the content is locked behind the main story, so do that before you do any other quests. The main story quests should be enough to get your first character to level 50 alone.. Tanks/Healers have better dungeon queues than damage dealers. The story sucks until you get to the expansion, but...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

Someone managed to take the info from FFXIII, the leaks from that one staff member, and the notes scattered around the game world to properly summarize the story: My Interpretation of the Final Fantasy XV Story (MASSIVE SPOILERS) • /r/FFXV So basically, the cuts really hurt the story. On the...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

OK I will correct myself now having gone to Altissa and pretty much finished the game: The story is a disjointed mess. The core seems good but a lot of it gets lost in the parts that were cut. In the space of an hour you go from: I stand by what I said earlier: The game is fun but flawed and...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

I think FFXV is a great foundation for them to build future Final Fantasy games on. I've enjoyed it in spite of its flaws. Insofar as the list of complaints go: I love that you can't see shit at night. It's like actual night time in real life. Too many games just put a blue tint over the world...

    Autonomous Systems

I would put it closer to five years for freeway driving to go automated. City driving and deliveries is another story. Unfortunately freeway driving is what employs most truckers, so it isn't going to be pretty. It isn't tens of thousands of jobs, it's millions of truckers and the communities...

The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXV

I know Square Enix is a Japanese company, but I still can't believe they're releasing FFXV the Tuesday after Black Friday just to keep with the new moon thing.
