I get that he would have a resentment over the situation after coming back to the park repeatedly and Dolores not remembering him. However, when he takes on the MIB persona, and kills Maeve, and the maze is revealed to him, and he says "for an instant, she was alive" I'm assuming at that point William would have realized that there would be a way to save Dolores and have her remember him (which she obviously did at the end when she said William would always come save her). That was my whole point. I think it would have been a better ending to the show to have the MIB sacrifice himself to help reveal the maze to Dolores so she could become self aware and escape the park. I like that ending more than having Dolores be Wyatt and kill everyone. It would've tied everything together really well with who he was when he first met Dolores.

I like how they've taken major plot points from the original film and twisted them up and into this story.
I really enjoyed the whole season. This show just works for me. Its not like GoT first season, but I really like it. Will watch Season 2.

I tried watching the film a few times . . . got 15 minutes into it 2 or 3 times. Long enough to see Brynner (sp?) die.
As good as it was, the tech scenes were painful, as was the finale scenes with the security guys.
I agree completely w/ whoever said they have to pull some magical shit out for season 2 or its just going to spiral into shit.

If you liked Ed Harris in this check out Appaloosa. He stars and directs. It's a beautiful but very non standard Western. There's no 10 minute shoot outs , violence is quick and brutal and the characters are very non traditional.

nerds crying about finale are funny. Shit was good and can't wait to see where they go for Season 2. Not that they can't fuck it up, they surely can, but I thought the finish was great. Pretty much all major questions answered, with a few other confirmations thrown in.

I wonder if the point of taking out Hemsworth was to weaken the security for the escape. The new guy just didn't seem decisive and ended up getting cut off from his teams anyway.

Yep, this is my kind of show.
I may get shit for admitting this, but I watch shows so casually now that I don't think I ever would have noticed the different time lines if I didn't follow this thread and see videos about it on YouTube. I am comptemplating not looking at any theories for season 2 just to see if I have an 'oh shit' moment that everyone else predicted from the beginning.

That's a lot of what makes shows like this good, in my opinion. I enjoy a lot of the discussion(and even the terrible theories) in between episodes. There's almost never any good discussion on Netflix shows because of how they are released.
