Anyway, man, everything at Dragonstone was cringe. I was anticipating coming in this thread saying that and getting a rash of shit from people defending it. Glad everyone else thought the episode sucked. Sansa is fucking obnoxious as well.
That said, the battle scene was damn good. Hope we get a few more budget buster scenes like that this season.
Jesus fuck what kind of faggot makes 7 "duhh...this shit sucks" posts during the episode? Please stop using the internet forever.
Jesus, talk about an obscure callback. How the fuck would anyone remember that? That's not you explained.
Noted Benioff, "This scene hearkens back to Season 1. ... When she finally finds Nymeria again, or Nymeria finds her, and she of course wants her to come back home with her and be her loyal companion again, but Nymeria's found her own life."
In Season 1, Arya had said to her father, "That's not me," when he described a happy life for her in a castle. By saying "That's not you" to Nymeria, it's her way of saying that she knows a happy reunion isn't in the cards for Nymeria given how much has happened since they last saw each other. But will that revelation have an impact on Arya's plans as well?
Speaking of predictable, when Jon read the letter saying that Daenerys wanted him to come to Dragonstone, I said to my wife "Well that's convenient!" I mean holy shit, c'mon! How many fucking signs are they going to give that that's what he was going to do? Maybe that's why the Sansa scene was so grating to me.the euron scene for me was the only good part of the whole episode.
with 12 episodes left to go, there is still way too much exposition and this is just becoming really predictable now. i hope they have some surprises left, theyre gonna need them cause theyre no match for the army of the undead
Makes sense. Either way Arya's not surprised anymore.Jesus, talk about an obscure callback. How the fuck would anyone remember that?
