There anything going on during aussie evening hours?

There's no aussie guilds, but a lot of people have been asking about it in Discord. I know the guild Sleepless raids at 11pm PST or so, which is like 5pm ACT.

Ever consider that these servers bring in no money, and most of us just do this as a hobby? You know, like model trains, but gayer.

that seems like a bad idea.

ill check on sleepless i guess. ability to enjoy high end content going to depend heavily on whether anything is happening when I have an opportunity to play. doesn't look like any of the 5man style servers are being operated much currently.

not sure what kind of detection y'all are running. Would I be able to run MQ2 solely for /stick? Not trying to be a douchebag here, but /stick is god and follow is trash.

We were running detection but I disabled it for now.

If the other server is really a Kegz server you don't want to play on it. No offense to the guy, but he has shown he doesn't have the temperament to run a server. Emu is full of guys like that, and you can waste a lot of time investing in characters just to have them lose their shit and implode the server.

Been playing on LoN for a while and it's a good server. The balance is right as far as exp goes and they are fast to jump on issues. Solid community too, though the economy is fucked right now. I imagine that might eventually change.

anything specific about the economy? i figure low pop just means poor valuation on rare items. something else?

My understanding was that a bug that was exploited for quite a while flooded the economy with plat, devaluing currency altogether. It's been fixed but a lot of the higher level players have a ton of money and consequently haven't needed to sell items. There isn't much for sale and when there is it tends to be priced higher than the standard value.

From what I gather it was the seafurries dropping way more plat than they should. Kind of a gray area as to if it's "exploiting" by just killing a mob and looting what it drops. You could argue that they thought that's just how this server/client works. You could also argue that they should have known better and petitioned it a long time before they actually did.

Either way, at this point if you ban everyone that did it you are banning half the server. That's no good. At most maybe identify the most egregious offenders and confiscate most of their plat.

What focus items are in? so far all I have seen is a robe with summoning 2 I think.

From what I've been told, focus item effects have been disabled

hope so. focus effects really slim down what items are worthwhile in classic.

Really dig the grey con aggro radius. I hope it's universally applied.

They're running double exp for noobs this week, and there are hotzones as well.

Been raiding with that sleepless guild. They've created instances for many classic targets so you dont need to poopsock to see content. Contested versions are still easier if you want to poopsock. A lot of stuff is the way it was way back when except some QoL changes like no coin weight, almost no melee push.
