Molten Core Raider

Really enjoying this server. I think the ruleset strikes a perfect balance combining faithful classic content with increased out of combat regen and 2-boxing. There are raid instances for classic but unclear if that will be continued for Kunark. The out of combat regen seems to effect hp significantly more than mp, and while it definitely makes the game more fast paced I don't think it trivializes any of the content. It even introduces some new strategy as you have to decide whether you want to "break" your meditation and get into combat on your caster or keep medding through a pull. Players generally seem friendly, although the community is still small. I went on an open-server Naggy/Vox raid last week that was lots of fun, and there are at least 3 guilds clearing instanced Hate/Fear/Dragons. Quests work, pathing works, haven't encountered any serious bugs, devs/gms are responsive on Discord. I like that bans are enforced by a player-run tribunal, and not just at the whim of the GMs. They seem to have the expertise on the coding side, I've seen 3 active devs on Discord, and things get fixed quickly (although there were quite a few bugs with Christmas event that still seem to be getting worked out). ROF client is nice, hotzones are great, instanced raids work as advertised. Original plan was for Kunark to be done ~February, but word is now that it might be hitting even sooner. It's a bit of a shame that the community is still split between EQR and LON, but when Kunark arrives I think that could pull a lot of people from EQR and elsewhere.
