This may be but I'm consistently annoyed by bad dubs in ports of JRPGs, some are better than others but I usually cringe when the VA clearly is just not hitting the emotion the scene is trying to convey.

Yeah that's were the talent of Japanese VA talent is. Alot of dubs I listen to just lack that emotion that trained voice actors from Japan have.

Biggest reason I'm using the JP audio is that it appears that the lip sycning is matched to that and not the english audio.

Would love a new bow skill, and for GGG to rebalance how shitty bows feel to level with. Not to say bows are weak or anything atm, I would just like archer characters to be a viable league starter heh.

Game is sitting at an 85 on metacritic so? Obviously some reviewers aren't going to like the game. Only thing I was really disappointed about in XCX was the story/characters. Adored the first game though

Will echo what @gshurik said above. Trails games are pretty much all about the story, characters and world building. They are a bit of a "slow burn" but the payoff is worth it. Plus you get that great music Falcom never fails to deliver on. The turn-based combat works well too, lots of nice...

Picking up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on Friday myself, really looking forward to it. Also with you on Trails games, the world building and characters are great. Hoping we hear something about a Cold Steel 3 localization soon. Oh, also really enjoyed Ys VIII which came out earlier this year...

Yeah I really like both of his sunder/cleave builds. Tanky and doesn't feel like clearspeed suffers at all for it.

Yeah Essence Drain and Scorching Ray are both pretty decent atm, SR takes a little while before it takes off. Dark Pact is strong too with the berseker leech.

Not 100% sure if real but:

XC2 seems to be getting positive impressions all around from previews, minor complaints seems to be around the slower start to the story and the hit to resolution in handheld mode. I'm ready for it!

One of the better years in gaming I've had overall. P5, H:ZD, Zelda, Mario are all terrific and not really sure I can pick one heh. If I had a gun to my head I'd give a slight edge to H:ZD mostly for being a brand new IP that ended up a surprise hit.

DS1 was a mess as that was From's first real PC port and the game wasn't very well optimzed even on PS3/X360(Blighttown?) Only real problem with DS2 that I remember was the durability issues being tied to FPS? I haven't played the PC port of DS2 though. Now that I think about it Souls games...

Well the first two Souls games were designed with the ps3/x360 in mind so I'd imagine DS3 is the only real hurdle there.

This. Honestly of the new shows this season this is the one I actually look forward to watching(Not including Soma as that's a returning show!).
