2026-2027 NFL Season - The Vikings Are Looking For Their Sam Darnold

If they could have gotten him for the same price Seattle paid, probably would have worked out, too. But Nix would be even cheaper for 5 more seasons. Agreed they could have still salvaged some value out of McCarthy at one point, though. Probably get next to nothing for him now. Curious who...

2026-2027 NFL Season - The Vikings Are Looking For Their Sam Darnold

Kyler officially starting for the Vikes. Holy hell if they just had drafted Nix, that team would be fine right now. Not even the biggest Nix guy, but he's more than capable of getting a good roster where they need to go, and Vikes have a great head coach, too.

2025-2026 NFL Season Thread - God hates the Chargers

Shorter career, but fwiw, in 8 years he was Defensive Rookie of the Year, had 1 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and after his rookie season was 1st Team All Pro 5 times, and 2nd Team All Pro the other 2 seasons. That's 1 more 1st Team AP and 1 more 2nd Team AP than Brian Urlacher had in 13...

Needed to happen. I know they're optimistic about some of the younger guys but none of them are real WR2 quality yet (if ever).

There have been supposed leaks of the new jobs, the tank job even before the NA fanfest, and the phys ranged dps recently. I think they confirmed at NA that the new tank would be the 2nd "main tank" along with Paladin. I hope we get something on 8 man theme, definitely expect more evolved...

Might depend on how they lay out the world map in Revelation, but some of the backstory stuff from Ever Crisis with former lands/people that Shinra basically conquered or got rid of could be added I guess. I'm skeptical how much of the Dirge lore will get included in Revelation (I mean, there's...

This isn't the only reason they've looked like shit, though. They've played like shit at times. Opening match v Congo perfect example. Numerous chances to play crosses into the box..nah lets just back pass it and maintain possession. Congo had a shot on goal every 20 passes while Portugal...

NHL 2025-2026: Canada's Quest to Defeat Bettman and Claim the Cup

I'm a little more skeptical on their place in the East even with him. They kind of snuck in the playoffs this year on a ton of loser points, and hoping that Vladar doesn't turn into a pumpkin going forward. Even if he doesn't, Carolina isn't going anywhere, the Caps have loaded up, and in...

Soccer 2022–2023 (EPL, La Liga, etc)

Sometimes yes, sometimes the opposite. Feels like he's barely had any service at times (he's also done poorly on a few potential chances, too). But they could be crossing the ball a lot more and he's still a big threat on those. There's a reason they looked better after they made those...

In the 2nd half, certainly. Played so conservative in the 1st, Portugal probably should have had more. Portugal just so strange, they have an insane midfield but for whatever reason they play like shit together on the national team a lot of the time. Drags their whole attack down.

NHL 2025-2026: Canada's Quest to Defeat Bettman and Claim the Cup

In terms of young studs and their place in the league, gotta rank 'em Mack, Schaeffer, Carlsson. Is he worth $18M a year in a vacuum currently? Maybe not, but with rising cap and the fact he's a legit 1C going forward...fuck it.

Thank goodness we didn't end up with Trouba. Our D a little shaky overall, but hopefully Sandin can come back mostly healthy before end of the year. Caps forward group won't have a real super star or stud top line, but the depth will be pretty crazy.

NHL 2025-2026: Canada's Quest to Defeat Bettman and Claim the Cup

Love what we're doing so far. With adding guys to top of the lineup, roster spaces at the bottom were going to be tough to come by, and too many guys to all try and clear waivers. Getting some mid picks for guys like Lapierre and Chisholm instead of potentially losing them to waivers is smart.

It'll age poorly by the end (assuming we don't end up moving him after Year 5 or something), but if cap keeps going up, it'll look less bad. When you're a team with no real terrible contracts, and everyone seems to only want to go to the same 4 teams lately (Vegas, Minny, Dallas...

Ovi plays LW. And if he comes back, it'll likely be as a 3rd line roll at 5v5/PP specialist. You move one of the right guys to their off wing on the left, and role Older Protas brother, guy that moved to LW, Ovi as your LW in the top 9. Beauvillier perfectly fine as a 4th line LW.

Tuch sign and trade to Caps. 8 years, $10.5M per. I know the cap is rising, so it'll be ok for a couple years, but that will be ugly in a few seasons. Definitely better forward group for this year, though. Crazy. Still have $12.5M in cap space.

Kinda love this. I know Kyrou had a down year last year, but St. Louis was shit. Should be quite the upgrade over McMichael, and Gastrin didn't have the most impressive year after getting drafted. Still having #18 overall from Anaheim in the Carlson trade makes moving our 1st much easier, too.
