    Whats rustling your jimmies?

Low flow urinals. 4 of 6 in my work building are down because of slow drainage, and since it's a federal building who knows how long they will take to fix. They stop up I assume it's because the flow is not forceful enough to get pubic hair and other debris through the u-trap.

Having severe doubts about this - you don't come to America and drink Budweiser.

Not common? Seems like 75% of leg fouls, upon further review, show the simulator clutching his shin (sometimes right on the pad) and howling in agony after the offender's foot gently caressed his ankle, or some other leg part far distant from said clutch.

It's usually not quite that bad. The first league game on Saturday starts at 4:45 AM and the early Sunday game at 5:30. Then, most of the games are Saturday at 7:00 AM with another at 9:30. The late Sunday game is at 8:00 AM and if there is a Monday game it is at noon (and no replay).

I think the spot should be moved back until it's a 50-50 proposition, should get more legitimate fouls called.

I said so too right after the game. But having cooled off, where was the rest of the team behind him? It looked like they were racing to catch up instead of having a calm, deep, solid back line with 30 seconds to go.

Ball possession and handling was something the USA had greatly improved on over the years, until today. Ghana should have scored on that last possession in the half. Who's supposed to be covering for Beasley?

    Mad Men

Robert Morse (Bert Cooper) was in the movie musicalHow to Succeed in Business Without Really Tryingand played the lead, J. Pierpont Finch. It was one of the few musicals I remember enjoying as a kid. The ending felt like a tribute for that.

I think the way Don should play it (or as I would write it), is follow the stipulations to the letter, become a Lou yes-man. Products will turn out shit, the other owners will see he's being shackled, and loosen the reins. Probably missing something, though. I'm not good at office politics.

When my supermarket says the hamburger grind is 80/20 lean-to-fat and it's actually higher lean. I guess they think customer's won't complain because less fat is always better, right? No, Vons, I actually want my burgers to be tender, juicy and tasty.

    Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

A good start. Knew most of the astronomy but not the story of Bruno. One question though. It showed the Moon's origin as an accumulation of debris, but isn't the latest theory that it was caused by a huge impact that separated a big chunk from Earth?

I didn't have a problem with the roof scene. The helicopter weakened the roof, a couple years of rain and other weather to weaken it more, they heard a sound from below, moved towards it and started falling in. Maybe the contractor skimped on parts in that area. Even if it was implausible, so...

Usually plot holes in this series don't bother me a lot but the truck was too much. Even if the governor took the keys, she could have slashed the tires or disabled the electrical system.
