Yeah. I don't even like the idea of new classes being stuffed into expansions. It makes sense if there's a gap that needs to be filled but I've never seen an xpac class that wasn't just a hybrid of existing types.

Nothing wrong with liking PVP in battlegrounds. In terms of micro-strategy it's always going to be more deep than open world PVP. It's just so repetitive, boring and plain for me.

Big difference is that in vanilla EQ you couldn't get a fiery sword of preening from a level 15 mob. One of the top twink items was a FBSS that gave ~20% haste and was reasonably difficult to get. If you build a world with no instancing and little amount of loot then twinking becomes a lot...

It had no honor system at launch. The PVP was best at launch when everyone was too busy leveling and gearing to go to low level areas and stomp newbies. It's an extremely bad sign that the max level is level 17 a few months from launch.

It all depends on production really. If they're close to signing a contract and starting production with LG, Samsung, whatever then they will probably skip the DK2 and produce CK1 for Fall/Winter. If they're still early on in the negotiation step I think they'll get DK2 out in Summer/Fall.
