I had a chantodos offhand that was worse than the one I already had despite having 500 int on it, so I gave it to someone from the clan. Also a Tal Rasha's offhand that wasn't as good either. Was about to ask why jewelry crafting requires lvl 70 crafting mats, but I guess it's a known bug.
