The holy trinity in EQ wasn’t tank heals DPS it was tank heals slower Ench fits the trinity just fine IMO. I actually wish there was 1 maybe 2 more utility/cc classes

Just make it similar to how it is now at max level I think you can charm up to 52? Honestly you could make charm pet dps just do the damage of a mage or necro pet and Enchanter is still a solid group contribution with all their other buffs and utility

I really like this concept. Just because Ench, Sham, Bard were the OP classes in EQ doesn’t mean they have to be in MnM imo, let some other classes have a bit of a rise instead. Plus it’s fun to watch the tears of people who “loved” those classes when in reality they just loved being an OP class

No way was anything in EQ as novel/complex as that first fight in BWL where you had to control the dude and break the eggs

I think they’ll cave on buffs long term but keep SoW shorter duration. It seems like a bandaid meant to fix SoW and they just kinda rolled with all the buffs while they were at it. That really was the problem where SoW enables just way different gameplay for 1hr I also hate the buff gameplay...

Agree I made a DE with and without ultravision and the difference was comical, if that extrapolates to above ground I imagine it will be heavily skewed long term toward deep races OR they’ll be forced to create items that give better vision
