The one thing that is really going to affect land ownership once the game launches is building appraisals. A cash shop item that lets you sell your land, either openly, or to a specific player. So, you will be able to make a character, get his large farm, place/build it, then sell it to your...

Property tax can no longer be paid with gold. Tax certs only, which merely cost labor. Which you generate even if you don't log in. And both tax certs and labor pots can be purchased in the cash shop. I don't get why you guys are thinking the land availability is going to be like it is in...

You're out of your mind. First of all, you must have done absolutely nothing but quest, since pretty much every action you take in the game gives xp. You take a breath, you gain 100xp! I left my main at 44 while leveling some alts and focusing on building ships and stuff. He made the next 5...

There are a lot of factors that favor East for certain important things. Zone placement, trade routes, how the coast is set up, Hasla, just to name a few. The racials are the least of it, and the cat racial isn't that important anyway. Also, skills like Drop Back/Teleport completely negate fall...

Yeah, it's a fresh server. No character copies. But alpha players cash shop creds will be account based. So any they spend on either alpha or beta come from the same pool.

It almost seems like the game wasn't designed with the idea of castles changing hands often, but instead to basically reward the guilds that managed to claim first, and let them keep it as long as enough of their members remain active enough in the game to defend it every week. Edit: YAY...

You know what AA doesn't have? Quest that make you run ten minutes on your mount, kill 15 mobs, run back, turn in quest and get sent back to the same fucking area to kill the other mobs that were there. And the quests reward is less xp than you would have got spending that travel time grinding...

That shit is such a tiny part of the game it doesn't even matter. What it does suffer from is a lot of same-faction douchebaggery griefing that doesn't involve pvp.

You could always team up with me. For 1320 labor and ~30 minutes work you can pull in 18-20g a day. I supply the mats, you craft the packs (20) and load the ship and you're done. Or you can opt to come along for the ride and hold the wheel while I do turn-ins. Owner's mark works fine for...

Anything that anyone can attain that there is suddenly a large demand for will cause this. Initially the demand will be higher than the supply, causing a price spike. As more people produce the item and compete with other sellers, the price gets driven down. This is pretty basic economics, dude...

My mistake. The retards on the livestream have trouble with long words. They use "cross-continental" which isn't actually a word, and confuse "intra" and "inter" continental. Watching their livestream is fucking painful, and it's hard to pick out the actually important information.

The pack split is currently 80/20. Which is where it will stay. Also, this is not the final western version. You will be able to get Gilda from same continent trade ins, they've stated that many times. As for the crafting mats, there's no word yet, I assume because since we were gonna get 1.0...
