Don't know if it's the holidays or my girlfriend just lost it. Started dropping hints about marriage. Another friend of mine is also a nurse and suggested she must have the "mercy" syndrome where one day she's gonna break my legs and chain me down to the bed.

Cheap Santa gets those looks.

That sucks

Exxon used to have a deal you could swipe at the pump or just get close to it. About the size of a pencil and about 3/4" long. Just put it on your key ring and it went on your exxon card. Seconds.

The few times it snows here in the winter we have this new invention they use. It's called a roof that keeps the rain, snow, sun etc...off of you while you get gas. Should check into it sometime. Probably been close to 40 years since I last saw a gas station that had a pump that wasn't covered...

Found this pic recently. Bosque county Texas. My deer on the left. I am not in the pic. The guy on the left is now a TX game warden and appears on the TV show Texas Law from time to time. Opening morning. Been a few years lol.

Saw where realtor.com is taking off the crime statistics for an area on listings.

Saw on the news, multiple semis turned over near Colorado Springs.

Yeah they had a couple of people die when it malfunctioned and was just giving copious amounts of insulin while people were sleeping or something like that.

Thought Apple just reported they had to stop some Iphone production due to chip shortage. Another one in the column of "only so many places to put money, might as well be there".

The McDonalds franchise in Baton Rouge started with one store like most. Then got all the ones in Baton Rouge, surounding areas down to and including part of New Orleans. Southwest MS and towns out to about 100 miles. Had a shipping deal that handled all the incoming and outgoing stuff...

Small earthquake in OH and KY today.

Wasn't a tornado, was a hurricane. 1:00 mark

Mayfield, KY water tower is gone, same place as the wharehouse pic above. They're asking for donations of water, gas, and diesel.

The factory.

Earlington, IN. Train blew over.

Headline I saw said 50 dead. Of course that's going to be way off this early. Someone on another forum posted pics, candle store collapsed and his wife crawled out of it and walked a ways to find help. I think that's it below, candle factory/stores and the article said 100 people inside...

Sex as well. Now you tell them they can have it if it's safe, few want to have it.

Even timber is sold/bought by the ton now instead of booard feet.

I went on 2 dates with a girl that was literally crazy. I did not know it. Friend that worked at the ER said she was in and out every so often for a mental hold. Whatever the hell that was. Luckily she lived in another state, in the same town my friend worked at the hospital. I guess there's...

Some of it is the camera angle I assume. But kind of looks like the van parked next door is on a 45 degree hill/road.

Pretty sure Vandy only gets to stay in the SEC to bring the graduation rate and GPA up a bit. Saying been that way all my life. Want to talk about Alabamas strength of schedule? They barely beat LSU in multiple overtimes and it came down to the last seconds. Enough said, they had issues this year.

I have no problem leaving someone at the morgue unclaimed if I don't care for them or they did something in an effort to screw me. I wish you could get a cremation here for $1,000. Most of the cost is in transportation.

I don't know if it's this way everywhere. I will assume it is. "Land men" in TX which is code word for crook. They read the local obituaries, look up and contact all the survivor family members and offer them squat and tell them what a good deal it is and how they will save the hassle of a real...

Everything I buy gets sued apparently. I get them often for stocks, insurance, and often firearms for some "defect". The best was reading about people complain about the Starkist Tuna class action suit and they got $1 or some such lol. Dad sent one in for a Remington 870 shotgun probably 30+...

Reason most farms now are now owned by corporations. Someone dies and the land gets broke up to kids and so on and so on every generation and they have to sell to pay the tax and many of them don't want to dick with farm life and they get a fraction of whatever. Just sell it.

Have a very small family. Sister and I. My dad was an only kid, all moms family was very distant - she had a brother die in WWII before she was born. The cousin I mentioned was my the daughter of my grandmothers brother. Only child that lived on the same property. That's it for family. The...

When my grandmother went into the hospital I had the locks changed on her house. House was in my name and had been for 15 years. Dads cousin lives next door on a couple of minutes away and has been a pain in the ass forever, all my life. She called and asked what was wrong with the locks the...

Should have asked him to say New Orleans. Of a dozen other names commonly mispronounced. I'm from south Louisiana, live with my girlfriend in Alabama which is where she's from. I wouldn't even call Louisiana a southern accent.

As an LSU fan it's been rere LSU comes out ahead on drama football terms. Even more so on a day Auburn makes the news and you have an Auburn girlfriend. Gonna kick my feat up and have a cigar and enjoy the show, it's rare :) Never understood the LSU fans that continue to have a meltdown about...

The last time LSU made a good coaching hire the baseball coach that just retired and became atheletic director did it, 20 years ago.

Yeah why would a coach want to leave ND and come to LSU? I mean LSU only has won 3 national championships in <20 years with 3 different coaches. Bad place to go lol. Guaranteed to at least play one national title contender every year with Alabama plus ocassional others. Not having to wait for...

I don't remember any questions like that. Of course I was terrible at math. Only good on the math I could see. Tell you what I got tired of. If a train leave Chicago at 2pm traveling 90mph and a train leaves St. Louis at noon traveling at 60mph. Those got so old. Not once in my adult life...

Tell you what is worse than someone at your own company. Someone at a contractor/supplier. HR can move you or the other person around in the same company. Known a number of instances it fell apart between someone and someone in charge of the supplier and it totally fucked one company out of...
