Bluray released and the audio is a huge improvement over the streaming version. If you have a decent audio system and/or found the streaming sound to be lackluster, this may be worth a second try.

I just ordered the video wireless adapter to try. In for a penny, in for a pound.

I can return it but I'm going to keep it, some are saying that no cards exist that can run this at 120hz and I only have a 3070, so I maybe video bottlenecked. Its still the best consumer vr headset currently available.

Not exactly as I remember but I watched it a long time ago too. I thought that he built his machine and brought some nice tech to a native village, improving their quality of life. But then things went to shit when some scumbag drug runners with AKs moved in.

Also, Helen Mirren was a fucking babe.

I enjoyed the movie back in the day, is there enough there to drag it out into a full season, let alone two?

First thoughts after very little use is that it is not a substantial upgrade to Valve Index. I am reinstalling HL: Alyx and going to play back through that and see what its like at 120hz and higher res.

My new headset arrived today, hopefully get time to hook it up and try it out tonight. I have read some reviews and it seems like a mixed bag/sidegrade type thing compared to the Valve Index, but I hate SDE and they say it is totally gone with this panel. That alone may make it worth the money.

15% deer, while accurate, doesn't make a good sound bite.

Boat hillbillies looked like extras from a Walking Dead episode.

I have a PSVR and a Valve Index running off an Nvidia 3070, the Index should blow away the PSVR, and it does for everything except this game. For some reason this game runs like ass on VR, a year back I did the rounds on reddit VR and NMS and the various app and plugin pages to see what I could...

Did anybody try it in VR since the patch? I played this in VR on PS4 and loved it so I bought it on PC just for VR and it was awful. I'm hoping gave it some VR love for PC.

Virginia Madsen was smoking hot in Dune.

Watched it tonight, if you enjoyed the first one you will like this. The first 20 minutes or so are a flashback to Day 1 of the creatures, which was nice to get some setup and backstory.

Merge this thread with the medical one pls.

Kind of fun, but it sure was no Sucker Punch.

OK I thought that was your basement. Tell your buddy that the next house he moves into we can set him up with a much better theater experience, if he is into that sort of thing. If he never goes down there and uses it, then stick to the white room and carpet.

@Animosity is a baseball player?

If you paint that ceiling black you will about double the perceived contrast ratio on your projector

I think Tom H. would make an awesome Constantine.

To this day I cannot board a plane and not want to shout "These things come down! It's too big!"

RIP Charles Grodin, may you be enjoying some chorizo and eggs right now, wherever you are,.

Isn't this whole forum a cuck simulator?

That thing is nightmare fuel right there

I still have the occasional reoccurring nightmare about that scene and it is almost 40 years (holy fuck that is unbelievable) later...

True but at least this thing is backwards compatible with my Valve kit, so for only $749 I'm getting a nice resolution upgrade.

I got my pre-order in, hopefully one of the first and hopefully they have decent stock.

Whoever did costumes and sets for the 1929 segments deserves some kind of serious industry award.

I don't know man, that scene with the plane has to be one of the craziest things ever put to film.

The final episode was called "Where I Really Come From" but it should have been "Mark, Your Dad Is Kind Of A Dick..."

Should you be mulliganing everything away to try and get Incanters Flow? Or is RSW always a keep?

I'm an idiot that doesn't know anything but it sure seems like refreshing spring water is too good.

Vive announcing a new headset in next few weeks, fingers crossed it is a legit 4k double display.

Didn't they also raise prices or announce a price raise fairly recently? That is usually good to squeeze out a bump in share prices.

This is great but don't forget Wandavision!

Whether it is or isn't better, it *seems* better, and that was half the battle because last time it was fucking miserable.
