@Sanrith Descartes I see Berkshire Hathaway as an example of a company that comes out of this stronger than it went in.

that address was a trainwreck

Are you doing a projector? That looks really small. Look at my theater screen on the first page of this thread to compare. Maybe it is a scale thing and they are the same size. My screen is 10 feet wide 2.4:1 aspect ratio. Are you going cinemascope?

just got my fedex notice, kit arrives Saturday

I think a lot of people on here are looking at something to buy and turn around and sell for a huge short turn profit. I'm not saying that is wrong or stupid, just don't look at me for advice on that because I can't help you.

Pretty much the same reason I buy anything, I'm going to hold it and reinvest the dividends for the next 20 years. I'm a terrible investing role model, I buy stuff that pays dividends and I hold it for a long time. In 2008 the stock market scared me so much that I bought some rental houses so...

I'm surprised the market panic isn't worse than it is given the technology that we have today, social media, etc. that we didn't have in 1987. It also seems like the circuit breakers really do work.

I just bought more XOM, you can all laugh at me next week when it is half what it is today.

Just wait until Tom Hanks dies from the virus, Dow is going to hit 10k.

I'm not worried at all, this is exactly what I've been waiting for. I've been holding for 10 years and finally sold it all last month.

I bought some more, I'll be buying all the way down because I'm terrible at guessing where the bottom is.

someone guess what delta stock is going to open at tomorrow

Good buying opportunity

I feel that if the president is willing to prop up cruise lines, he would be willing to bail out Boeing if needed.

getting close to tripping a circuit breaker now. I bought some BA today.

Buy stock on toilet paper manufacturers - Kimberly Clark? Every single store in my town is sold out.

I'm as skeptical as you are and not expecting to be blown away by the Index at all so we'll see. It looks like mine is going to ship this week so I'll give you a no bullshit review sometime soon.

who is the guy with the little shield? found it, dumb name:

Luckily Disney never got into cruise ships in a big way. I think they have a few but it is probably less than 1% of their overall revenue. I wonder if park attendance will get hit hard. I can't imagine going to a Disney park and not seeing lines everywhere.

Got mine bought in the first minute, we'll see when it ships.

First two episodes were good but it feels like this show has a high probability to shit the bed.

I've got Steam locked and loaded to try and snag an Index at noon central today.

I sold all my XOM a few weeks ago at 57, should I buy it back today? I doubt it is the bottom but this seems like a good time to get greedy.

@AladainAF More info on !Boonga Boonga, AKA Kancho, AKA "Pokey-Man" THE NEXT TIME some pervert pinches your behind on the Tokyo subway, ask them if they've played the new butt-poking arcade game Boong-Ga Boong-Ga that is sweeping Japan. In Boong-Ga Boong-Ga, known in English as "Spank 'em!"...

Town of 30,000 near me just shut down for two weeks because a lady had the virus and attended a bunch of events in town. Our governor just put out an alert urging all citizens to have two weeks of food and water on hand. I'm sure he means well but telling me to have two fucking weeks of water...

The fed doesn't buy equities, not sure if you are making a joke or if you really believe that shit. Hopefully a joke.

As usual I was wrong, market didn't get crushed today. I really thought it would. Thought people would not want to be long over the weekend with all the possible uncertainty. I bought a little bit of Bank of America today, assuming the market is going to keep going down and I'll never be able...

I predict a bloodbath tomorrow. But I am wrong about everything.

Am I crazy or is the engineer lady super hot?

I realized the truth of this about 15 years ago and switched everything from ROTH to traditional. I do still have my old ROTH accounts and they will be nice to have in 15 years when I retire, but the simple fact is for normal people, having that extra money now is worth it. @Gravel is right on...

If he is a dependent and he gets along with his parents, the best overall deal by far is a 529, let his parents take the incredible state tax break. Then in a few years open up that ROTH.

I sold a bunch Monday at the open, let me know when it is time to buy back in

After MASH

I don't need to see McGregor Khabib 2 but it would be great to see McGregor v. Ferg.

@Bandwagon Can your machine make something like this? I'm a Desert Storm vet and I volunteer for a local non-profit that provides legal service to veteran's and their families that can't afford it. I am working with a USMC Desert Storm veteran right now that never received his medals after...

Looks like it was directed by DelToro.

I told my wife "Make sure you only step on the studs" "I am, I am" she says. Turns out she didn't know what I was talking about. She could have been killed. We have a front foyer that is 2 stories tall, tile floor at bottom. She is never going up in the attic again.

Fuck Josh Gad

"pro-tip"

I found this file on Thingiverse: Mandalorian+Rifle+Ender3_Bed Complete by t4nk_jw Someone sliced it down into component parts and arranged it tightly to the bed so it could all fit on at once. This was my first time having the balls to try that big of a print. So far I have been doing one...
