Prior to playing Alyx I haven't touched VR almost a year. This game is great and exactly what we needed. More like this please.

Too much CGI but the augmented fights were cool and that actress is hot as fuck. Vin Diesel is getting too old for this kind of stuff. Set your expectations low and this is worth a watch.

Rally again next week or downhill from here? Place your bets...

When they do shit like this they should release the notes or outline for next season so we can at least see if the writers had any idea what they were doing.

Have some sympathy for the guy, he was used to partying like Jim Morrison up until two weeks ago. Living that kind of life style and then being forced to quit cold turkey is going to have a serious mental effect.

He is a slumlord and he does complain endlessly about his tenants.

Shit man I am just telling you what he said. I am not that smart to begin with and I suffer from CRS on top of that. I'm going to need you to remind me again what we are fighting about here. The government just signed the largest stimulus package in history and I asked him how that was going...

I'm not sure that spending that $1200 on flatscreens and phones is unintended, like someone said above, that money is going right back into the economy, just not to his rent.

Section 8 are going to be the only people who CAN pay in a month. If you are a landlord you are unconcerned right now? I don't even own many rentals and I'm concerned. When your tenants stop paying you rent are your mortgages at a small town USA bank that will let you stop paying for a few...

My cousin owns a giant apartment complex mostly caters to lower income folks. I asked him if this stimulus check is going to help him out, he thinks $1200 is going to let those folks buy some flat screen televisions and new phones but won't do a damned thing for them paying rent.

Don't worry market will crash again next week and you will have a chance to buy back in lower.

At this point I think the virus numbers are what matter, they are the big unknown now. US cases went up 20% in one day yesterday, does that level off or does that continue?

This is just cheating.

Shit I forgot about Green Lantern, you might have me on this one.

GR100 is the new GR80.

Federal government requested states not release unemployment numbers until this Thursday. Thursday may be a wild day.

This movie was fucking awful, I defy anyone to name a worse DC movie. This was worse than Suicide Squad and Batman v. Superman FUCKING COMBINED.

@Kithani I was one of the original Kickstarters to Oculus so three of them came from that one Kickstarter.

I own five different VR sets and Index is the best one I have used. It still has annoying God Rays (TM) but the controllers are good, the tracking is good, the sound is good, the resolution is decent but still needs improvement.

Teleporting sucks balls.

Have you tried "continual move" ? It is what I am using and it seems fine to me, try it out. Uses the thumbsticks.

I played through the first area and it is pretty cool in VR. You get a real sense of scale that you can't get without VR.

Bernard now I guess.

Looks expensive

Didn't you tell us this was over in a couple months about 2 pages ago?

If you are going with a projector you want it all dark, black preferably. Black ceiling, black carpet or at least black area rug right in front of the screen.

Did she put one of the brains in the scar-faced guy from Braveheart or can she also crank out mindless automatons?

I have shit memory in general but watching the season 2 recap at the beginning of this episode, I don't remember Dolores reading the braille book, and I don't remember Valkyrie from Thor leaving with the black brain CPU's. Did I miss an episode last season?

I wouldnt

I like your optimism but it is historically unsound. We could enter a bear market that lasts a decade or more. I hope you are right though.

Not sure who this is directed to but this is flat our wrong depending on your individual situation. The markets could easily fall another 50% from here.

I got the kit set up over the weekend, then realized that all of my VR games are on the Oculus platform, not Steam. I have one game on Steam for VR, Batman Arkham VR. I tried it out and it didn't seem like much of a game but it had some cool environments to look at. The first thing I...

I bought some BRK.B, probably spent too much in the short term but I want to get a piece of Buffet buying everything else.

@Locnar I like your list but you need to be careful. Depending on your age, risk tolerance, investing timeline, etc. this could be a fine time to buy or it could be a big mistake. While most of these are down a full 20% or more from recent highs, they could very easily lose another 50% from...

That wooden box is an echo chamber. You want to hear the speakers, not the speakers plus delayed sound waves reflecting off the sides and walls. https://www.acousticfields.com/use-absorption-behind-speakers-diffusion-rear-wall/

You should buy some acoustic foam, or some simple duct liner from a local HVAC shop and line the back top and sides of that.

lol at those poor little subs - get them out of there

He is on the phone with companies right now, his 125 billion in cash is going to be buying out failing companies. This shit is going to get bad and he is going to be cashing in.

my gut feeling is you won't like how the subs sound in there, but everything else should be fine.
