About threw my back out but I got them all moved in behind the screen last night.

I wanted to love this but I failed at that completely. I did like him telling Bernie that they need to move the other 99% into the 1% and Bernie telling him that wouldn't work. That bit felt like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Great idea actually, these could have been the little guys that fell off the bottom of the big bruiser thing from the first movie.

I wanted to play something old school so badly the other day but had no idea what or how so I just got online and spent an hour reading through and remembering the old EQ Plane of Sky raid. Man that loot was such SHIT. Plane of Sky - Project 1999 Wiki

I finished the last of them last night. My original plan was to put them behind the screen and replace one of the subs I have back there with these 4, then I realized there is actually room for them within the room, if I don't mind them being seen. I'm going to run some temp wires and get them...

two down two to go

I've got one son, we named him Paul. My wife thinks that he is named after St. Paul. She is mistaken. Tried to talk her into letting me name him Duncan Idaho but that didn't work out.

Finally watched this last night and I really enjoyed it. I'm definitely with the people saying that you should have seen this in a Dolby cinema. I've got a robust home theater sound system and we CRANKED this. Obviously huge dynamic range because the majority of the movie is silent but when...

Maybe it wasn't the PIA update that caused the issue, as I downgraded to v 80 and still can't connect. Just shows as yellow connecting forever, never syncs up. Never had the issue before, added firewall exception for all PIA stuff, uninstalled, reinstalled, still can't work so I'll likely just...

they pushed an update a few days ago and I haven't been able to connect since. perma - yellow/orange "connecting" icon. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no go.

PIA took a dump on me with their last update. Anybody else using one they recommend?

I didn't get the very ending. Is he going to kill him or train him or reform him? And do we really want to see that as a third movie?

I'd never heard of The Venture Bros. before a month ago. Not really sure how that was even possible. I saw this thread, thought I'd see what the show is about and started watching it. I watched all 6 seasons over the past three weeks, best show I have ever seen. I'm holding out hope that his...

Tons of science if you are doing ported or bandpass but I have no skills so I'm sticking with sealed. Sealed speakers are easy and produce deep bass but they require lots of amp power. Parts Express sells a CNC cut MDF kit for these drivers, I considered just buying those but I figured I'd try...

Now that the first season did well Hollywood can inject some diversity and social messaging into the second season!

Did anybody watch TUF this week? When the Arkansas kid was talking about all the ways to cook a squirrel it totally made me think of this:

Up until the last episode or two I think Brian Connity was still a good guy but now they even threw him into the gutter.

Agree completely about Grigor, made no sense, would have never happened that way, goes against his own interests, was there solely as a plot device.

I'm shipping back the Denon, cannot get it to EQ my subs correctly. Going back to my old Onkyo 7.1 non atmos for now because it sounds awesome. Will need to something new pretty soon though, will probably try out Yamaha.

I bought an 11.2 Denon from Accessories4Less, it was about $1300. I have never owned a Denon before, always Onkyo. I kind of wish I had tried Yamaha instead of Denon this time around.

Bones Jones prediction - he gets his pardon next year, Dana returns him to the UFC, DC comes out of "retirement" for the trilogy fight (which he already said he would never do), JBJ beats him yet again, and then Jones goes out to party and kills a family of four via motor vehicle homicide.

I just upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2.4, have had it for less than a week. Initial impressions of the Atmos speakers are less than stellar but I need more time to evaluate. Regardless of whether they are a longterm win, I had the same issue as you and I needed a new receiver in order to pass higher...

Looks like Snowpiercer meets John Carter.

What was with the dumbass security guard getting cozy with the fembot in the Cradle? How stupid was that guy? @hory - a helicopter isn't going to help them if the whole park is inside a dome at the bottom of the Pacific ocean.

I started running the upgrade cables last night. When I built the room I left a length of conduit behind a trapdoor just in case I ever needed to upgrade. Took off the trapdoor and it is still there and ready to go: I am adding cables for 6 additional channels, I had to bundle them all...

My mistake, there is an IR input on the back so I am good there. There is no slave outlet but there is a 3.5mm 12v trigger output. I've never used one of those before but I should be able to take a mono 3.5mm cable, strip it down and hotwire it into my furman powerport to trigger.

The Atmos receiver came today. It has a lot of functionality that didn't exist when my Onkyo 976 was made but it is missing two key things. There is no direct input for IR that I can see. It probably has an IR window that I can hit with a little emitter but the Onkyo was better in that regard...

Just ordered a Denon 11 channel receiver to be able to do 7.2.4 Atmos and a 50' 4k ready HDMI cable. Now it looks like I need a new Nvidia card so my HTPC can playback UHD HDR movies.

Yair Rodriguez quote on being cut from UFC at 6-1: “No hard feelings. You’ve got to move on from things,” Rodriguez said. “People live in the past too much. They live the past. I’ve been learning, this is one of the things that I’ve been learning: If you are living in the past, you’re...

I've been using Rarbg for years but I'm pretty clueless about this stuff - what does an invite get you? The site works great for me and I never got any invite.
