I've got a new addition to the theater entrance, built it over the weekend:

I don't think .6 apps work on .7 so if this actually works with both that is great news.

When NTSC jumped to HD you had a combination of factors that made the picture look better. In general it coincided with the move to flat panel so the screen size was getting bigger, obviously the pixel count is much higher, but then the important factor that a lot of people don't realize is...

I used the mech hero power and got a 7/7 on the second turn that does 2 damage to either player who plays a card. Yeah that was fair.

I think something has got to give as far as cable billing and internet bandwidth caps. As more people cut the cord and stop paying cable bills, the internet usage goes up and I think they will simply transfer the money you were paying to cable over to internet. Eventually nobody has cable but...

I want to play Fallout 4 in VR.

CEDIA was kind of a bust last week. There was almost nothing new out this year except for the JVC projector lineup. Those were good but none of them were 4k. The bottom of the line JVC looked good, retails for $3999 and is brighter than the one I have now. If I can find a b-stock or used one...

Sure, they reminded me of the Others from Lost.

Great episode but how can the Wolves not have any firearms? I believe there are over 500 million guns in the US in civilian hands alone, let alone national guard armories, police stations, military bases, gun stores, etc. Probably enough ammunition available to kill the entire world population...

I loved BF3, was a bit burnt out by BF4, I thought this was going to be a day 1 purchase for me but the demo does nothing for me so at least props on them for letting us try before we buy. I'm surprised you can't blow up buildings, etc. Seems much more like CoD minus the killstreaks than it...

Sounds awful. Can't prone, can't blow up buildings? Is that really how it is on a PC??? How hard would it have been to take the Battlefield engine and just skin it for SW and add stock library sound effects?

Mad Scientist with only 2 secrets in the deck has never worked out for me, how do you guys do that? I am the unluckiest Hearthstone player ever so that may have something to do with it.

I had forgotten the chip switching scene. They filmed that by having the real Arnold on one side of a two way mirror with Linda Hamiltons twin sister, then on the other side it was Linda and a fake Arnold head that she is cutting open to expose the chip. Incredibly slick scene that nowadays...

I think they were playing off of the T2 directors cut. Cameron filmed but then removed (wisely?) some scenes of young John Connor teaching the T-800 how to smile. It looked exactly like it did in this new one.

It wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be. I am no Jai Courtney fan either. They probably should have stopped at T2 though.

I dropped $800 on a video card to support VR, I'm sure you guys are all running on several thousand dollar PC platforms. $350 is still cheap to most everybody who cares at this point.

Some beautiful visuals, if they could have De-Lindelof'd it I think they might have had something. My 3 year old watched the first few minutes before it got too scary for him and he liked the part with the kid flying in the jetpack. I was a little surprised with how rampage prone the...

I had the same game, don't think I ever made it past the first level.

Bomb-bot deck seems quite a bit stronger than the annoy-o-tron deck.

New patch broke touchscreen support for windows, which sucks for me love my surface pro

Man paladin and warrior are just not a lot of fun to play against right now, and it is all because of about 2 cards, maybe 3.

developers are getting better at making stuff that doesn't induce projectile vomiting. The consumer versions having higher resolution and refresh as well as better graphics cards pumping hire fps should help a lot as well.

When Michael Madsen instructs you to turn the key you better damn well comply.

This. I went from the El Salvador dad being the biggest badass on the show to being the stupidest, and back to being the biggest badass, all within the space of a minute or two.

He could make 20 more shit movies after Blackhawk Down and he is still in the + column.

The showdownvr unreal demo is now freely available, you have to jump through some hoops to get it working but it is worth it.

I paid $40 to buy Dungeon Master for my Amiga, got the game home and found out that it needed a 512k (K!!!) additional RAM module in order to run. I went back to the store to buy that, found out it cost $500 for the RAM module. Let off a pissed off sigh, paid the money and headed home, plugged...

That may be a dated projector but those Panasonic's all throw a great picture. May as well keep on using it until 4k becomes affordable.

The old man is from El Salvador, not Mexico. He is clearly the smartest, most experienced and most bad-ass of all the "main" characters, so clearly they will kill him off first. (not counting his wife, she is already dead)

Lyrical nice Atari and EQ posters. I do all my gaming on my pc and the theater room is strictly for movies, so I can't help much on the gaming projector question. I did build all my sound treatments myself. The AVS forum has a mega thread on homemade sound treatments and I was able to get...

Saw it in the theater and will be buying it on bluray as well. Sue me if I want to watch it a couple weeks early.

Buddy and his two sons came over last night to watch Avengers 2 in my theater room and asked if I had this yet. If I have them over next weekend to watch this are the boys going to like it? I think they are ages 8 and 13.

First one came out in the 70's not 80's. I talked my parents into taking me to it thinking it was going to be another Star Wars ripoff, turned out to be a rated R gang movie. I'm sure my parents loved me talking them into taking a 9 year old to see a rape and murder filled Australian biker movie.

So to do the exploit you would still need ring(s) with a useful passive. I'm out.

Didn't Jobs always scoff at stylus and keyboard for use with a tablet? I recall some quote like "the only stylus you need is right here" and then he would give you the finger.

If you are buying it to collect it and have it forever, then you may want the 1 and not the 2. If you are buying it to just use it and have some fun, I'd take Skanda's advice and hold off a bit. The CV1 is going to be a huge improvement for probably not much more $$$, who knows it may even...

Or they take a page from Magic and rotate out old sets, relegating them to a "type 1" or "classic" only area.

Did she say her daughter came here 1500 years ago or 15000 years ago?

Didn't work

I read a wiki on the cube and I still don't get how it works. I unlocked it last night but not sure what to do with it. Can someone give me an idiot proof instruction on it?
