I'm getting that same tracking jitter. I'm a bit surprised by that I figured with the dual laser tracking that stuff would be flawless. On the Vive reddit page someone said to use a carabiner through your back belt loop and feed the cables through that to keep them from wrapping around you...

MeStevo - it turns out you can set up rectangular playfield. This is good as it let me maximize my playspace. No issues there, looks like square would be fine too though. And if you have a giant square available that is probably optimal. Brahma I've only got about an hour into the Vive so...

I spent some time this weekend and got Project Cars up and running with my driving cockpit, and Eve Valkyrie going with the HOTAS setup. Eve kind of sucked unfortunately. It is clearly an arcade shooter and not designed nor meant to be played with a HOTAS. I'll have to pick up Elite or...

Yeah thanks I didn't know it was square only, thought it could be a rectangle. That will make a difference.

It sounds like my Vive may actually ship out this week after all. I moved the pinball machine and arcade game and shuffled some things around and was able to clear out a 9'x15' space. If I really go crazy and move the computer desk and driving cockpit I could clear out a 12'x10' space but I'm...

LOL

I had hopes for those guys but it didn't pan out. I think this was a pretty weird movie too and you guys have seen some weird shit.

I owned the directors cut of Abyss on Laserdisc in about 1992 so I don't think that was it. This one probably came out '99 or '02 or somthing like that. And I think I've seen every movie Ed Harris and Michael Biehn were ever in, bit part stuff too like when Ed was in "Coma" in 1978.

You guys have seen everything so I'm hoping someone can rember this late 90's possibly early '00's movie. Next door husband and wife seem normal but it turns out they are serial killers with some kind of stainless steel torture room I think the movie had the people living in an apartment...

At some point they need to sell a "boxed set" or "beginners set" that has all of the old content in it for one price.

Ordered it. Thank you.

For you comics guys, what do I need to buy, issues, volumes, etc. to pick up reading from here on.

I got sound to work in BlazeRush by going into my sound control panel and setting the Rift to be the default windows sound device. I was then able to play the game for two hours straight yesterday with no discomfort. I can't believe this cheap 3rd person toy car racing game is the best thing I...

Last night I got an email from HTC that I don't need to worry about my order being canceled due to the credit card charge issues and that they would re-charge. This morning I get an email from them that the order was canceled. Looks like it happened to a bunch of folks on the Vive reddit as well.

My local newspaper came over Wednesday night and interviewed me for an article about VR that was in today's paper: http://www.omaha.com/living/first-hi...5403ff5ec.html

Vive tried to charge my credit card this morning and Chase, God bless them, declined the charge to protect me from fraud.

That is some crazy shit.

All I have are the two freebies and two I bought off the store. Luckey's Tale is cute, doesn't make you sick, kid friendly etc. Good pack in game, not sure how long people will play it but it will be a staple to show off for folks who like Mario type stuff. Eve I want to like and I was...

There is a really annoying white halo artifact that you guys will see every time there is a large white object on a black background. So far this seems to only be text on the opening credits for the movies and Eve. Once you get in the game I haven't seen it, thank God.

So far the only two games that haven't worked for me are the games that I actually bought today from the Oculus store. I paid $50 for project cars and $10 for a racing game called Blazerush. No sound in Blazerush, no controller working in Project CarsEvery free demo and game worked fine with...

old wolf claw and wolf king, I used to play a lot of Quake 2 and Counterstrike and I always liked that setup. They are antiques now.

UPS delivered it, got it set up and running. I wish the cord was longer. The screens are nice and bright. The resolution is much better but still not where it eventually needs to be. Not complaining mind you, it is sharp and much nicer than DK2, but it just makes you realize that in a few...

At least he didn't buy it pay you, get it and then cancel the charge on his credit card. I've had that happen and it blows.

I see a shit ton of DK2's for sale on Ebay and it looks like they are all selling for north of $600. Should I sell mine and if I do what is the chance I get fucked by the winner canceling the credit card transaction once he gets the rift in the mail?

I'm still wondering if the one I get tomorrow will be different in some way than the normal versions. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

UPS site updated, delivery is tomorrow.

Nah it is a fire extinguisher. I keep one on each floor of the house and I thought it would be fun to paint the one in the basement blue and stick it on the front of the driving rig. I printed out some nitrox stickers from google images and it looks pretty real.

My order page shows shipped but it doesn't show a tracking number yet, so I don't know what is going on with that.

I finished my HOTAS table last night, now I'm ready for some Valkyrie and Elite.

They need to get rid of snyder or some writers or something and improve - they should give Ben Affleck a shot at directing the next stand alone Batman.

Did he film it in black and white like Man of Steel?

I haven't seen any kickstarter email recently and I just logged in to their site and it shows no shipping or tracking info yet.

My HOTAS came in the mail this week so I built a test rig to mount it to. This was a proof of concept only to make sure the measurements would work. The real thing will be made of plywood with a kreg jig and obviously be wider so it is stable. I think it is going to work out pretty well...

I've already got a Vive and Oculus both coming, and I don't even own a PS4, only a PS3 but I'm surprised how good the Sony headset and software look. I really hope the best for them and I hope they sell a ton of units and people don't get violently ill playing this stuff. A good launch for...

I started my second character out and have almost maxed out his demolitionist tree and have not yet selected the secondary mastery. What pairs best with demolitionist? Right now I have a point in the one that gives him +25% crit if he uses a 2h weapon, but I also just got a blue chest that...

Don't forget about the 3DHead!

I got an order update from Oculus today, must be shipping out soon.

Definitely true.

They got me pretty good. I really liked Cloverfield so I was going to see this opening night for sure. Movie was fine but had fucking nothing to do with Cloverfield.

I've never heard anything bad about B&W before except maybe the price. Definitely never heard them called junk but I also didn't realize Best Buy carried them.
