I have a pork loin end roast I'm cooking tomorrow. I know how I'd usually do it, but someone give me their favourite way to prepare and serve it. I'm feeling adventurous.

If you're going to use the push on fittings anyway, go with PEX. I've stopped using copper for anything, and replaced most of it in my house with pex. You have to have an exposed pipe out doors? Does it not freeze there? What on earth could make this necessary?

My friends, I have twin teenage girls. They turned 13 recently. Is there a teen switch that girls have, giving them extra attitude, and making their eyes roll extra hard? Pray for me.

Doing your duty so your doody disappears. Well done, sir. Ikea has a couple levels of products. They have the looks pretty good, priced for students line of stuff, and the expensive, more serious stuff. My sister used Ikea cabinets in a kitchen renovation, and they really were some of the...

This is all great information. Thanks for sharing. Guess I was wrong in my estimations! do a 2 inch, it'll fit in your wall, and just before it goes through the roof, upsize it to a three inch, so it looks all good to code.

I was not a fan of brussel sprouts until about 2 years ago, when I cooked them for myself. My mother's brussel sprouts were typical Dutch food - cooked to mush and mixed in with the over cooked potatoes. gross. Now I make them fairly regularly, especially as they are super easy to grow...

Man, that sucks the balls of donkeys with the force of a tsunami. Maybe. Block is generally thick enough to run a 3 inch pipe in the same cavity. Block also retains its structural integrity if you open up a channel vertically. Block, provided they didn't fill it, breaks pretty nicely and...

Ugh. Unvented plumbing is just asking for trouble. You should look up what code is in your area. Perhaps there's a corner in your bathroom there that you could make a small box around a 3 inch stack, because then you'd be entirely fine tying it all together. Just a couple inches lost in the...

When you saw through the siding and such, get a long blade for your sawsall. Put a 2x4 against the siding, and cut from the outside. Keep that 2x4 tight, very tight, against the siding, and you'll have pretty good results. Nothing that J channel won't hide. You're replacing your plumbing...

I have run drain through a floor before. Worked just fine for me. 1 1/2 for vent should be fine, too. I'd replace that window while you've got the wall open.

Is that support stud completely severed to make way for plumbing in the exterior wall? So many face palms, so little face.
