For shits and giggles, I used ketchup. My kids thought it was the best, ever. Everyone also loved the addition of the pickles. Tasty as heck.

My youngest tested today for ADD. Guess we'll get results in about a week. The whole concept of treating five year olds for this bugs the heck out of me, but I want to give him every opportunity to learn, and to feel good about himself. I know his mother didn't get on meds until she was 20...

I haven't seen it. I doubt you'll learn anything, though. Still, be fun to see him live.

"wagging" your "finger," huh? I do something similar, but typically use tomato paste, as it is less sweet. Or I puree a tomato and use that. Never had pickles on top, though. That sounds good. I'ma try that.

Yeah. Pressure cooking can be used to quickly simulate the effects of long braising or simmering. I find the meat texture is generally different - cooked under pressure, but moist pressure, makes for good meat. You can get fall-apart beef in 45 minutes (would take 7 hours in the slow cooker)...

Cool, that chicken looks easy and good. A whole lot less greasy than the real KFC. I'm going ghetto tonight, and making sloppy joes. Anyone have a killer sloppy joe recipe? I usually just wing it.

I wear a shirt and tie often. What colour shirt should be relegated to black pants, what colours to brown pants, what colours to khaki pants?

A couple possibilities come to mind. First, there are cans you can buy that are high pressure air charges that are intended for drain cleaning. They have good, self explanatory instructions on the back. I've actually used one, and it worked for me. Second, if that doesn't work, you might...

Replace the carpet with hard wood. If you don't want to pay for full on hardwood, find a good laminate (online prices will be far, far better). If you're looking for something that you're hoping someone other than you will install, I have no idea. Carpet will be the best price, but then...

The heck you say?!? Now I have to try it. And on the topic of recipes - So tonight, for example, I cooked a chicken curry. I know how to, but I looked at about 5 or 6 recipes from cooks I like, and I actually changed my plan a bit because of what I read. I didn't follow a recipe, but...

Not in Canada at the moment, but close to Detroit. Grew up near Kingston. That's a possibility, but if you think about scale, and add a landing, the scale will be right. You can make wooden steps as wide as you like, and you can increase the size of your outer step, then. Could look really...
