I look at the syntactical knowledge we possess today as something kind of like the VIM wizards I met when I started in the industry. They had absolutely ace skills in coding without an IDE and using archaic keyboard shortcuts for everything. It was cool, but not cool enough to actually learn...

I understand the concern, but if you do not get on the Agentic Development train, you lose. It is as simple as that. You are arguing about precision, which is respectable. But it doesn't matter if you can churn out 10X the output you could before and its only 80% right.

Additionally, since if you play Hardcore and get legacy points those are accountwide to the rest of your account and not just locked in HC. So I might even try that. As an ultra slow paced total pussy rogue that carefully wanders around and quests.

I intend to stick around a long time with this. As I will be going through slowly but I do want to do the raids so we'll see what happens.

Make no mistake here all of the profession bonuses in Forever were taken almost 1:1 from Epoch. Forever is taking all the best ideas they could find and polishing them up.

Current beta build fixed SavedVariable so my addons are starting to work as intended. Updated my git repo. Water works on Mac now and lighting is getting a lot better.

I mention Turtle often enough. Epoch was something we started with Last year. But they got stalled.

Project Epoch has returned too, interestingly. This is where Blizzard lifted the idea of Undead Paladins btw. I am surprised that they did not take the Warlock changes from Turtle where Firestones act as temporary weapon enchants sort of like Rockbiter. https://project-epoch.org/

Greenbacks still better than cowpie laying kodo jockeys. I really want to run Undead warrior though.

What are you going to main?

This is awesome. It means Soulfire can be in your actual rotation now!

ROFL

Criticize all you want, you're just being a doomer about it for no real reason.

Yeah but Druids are gay. I am torn between maining Shaman or Warrior still.

He's done his Olympus super guild in the game many times now. I wouldn't worry about it other than avoiding it.

Come on, Priestatute is a good one rofl.

Doom all you want doombros. I haven't even had a subscription since Legion. I did level a Warlock on Turtle and run MC a few times. But that has been it. This is exactly what I wanted. I love MNM conceptually, but when I just want to hangout and chat a bit with retards while killing some...

They have no space to develop without going up up up! I tell you.

Engravings?

As you know, if you code all day coding for fun is just not very high on the list. Since I know all of the details that I want to do and no longer have to worry about syntax its just architecture patterns. https://github.com/TheMouseNest This is the guy to understand. He creates a singular...

I don't care about the beta, but I did want to try my hand at developing addons against this new API with Agentic Power. I had always wanted to make addons but never really wanted to spend my spare time learning Lua. For this reason it has been a great time. I just need Bliz to fix their...

Lucky me that at this stage in my life $30 is nothing and spending it on a hobby won't financially ruin me. I appreciate your concern.

I mained a Troll shaman from vanilla through WOTLK. I love me some troll.

100%. They had aspirations for this in WOTLK but It didn't work out. The skeletal remains of it were reused for those spider dungeons and azjol nerub boss fight under the Argent Tournament (by far the gayest raid tier they have ever done).

Well I am pretty sure I want to play Horde. As much as I might have liked to main Alliance for once. I would have liked if they made Trolls and Orcs use updated models that stood up straight though. Or even give you the option to use them. Troll 2h animations are so bad.

C'thun worshipping Furbolgs. I'm down.

Since they are returning to stuff from Warcraft 2 like the Order of the Horse this is doubtful. Much of what we see may indeed be characters we have seen before but taken a different direction. Al'Akir is already here and all.

Guys keep it down! Bliz is going to run out of fantasy ideas at this rate.

I think this might be stretched. Like later on you can go with Naxx gear to Forever Content Patch 2 and survive. But the items from that content patch have +DMG vs Earth Elementals or something so the gear from there makes you much more effective there than if you have stuff from elsewhere...

You are free to doom as much as you like man. You do you.

Free and supported by MTX. Just like many games that exist today.

None of these arguments has any basis in reality. Turtle WoW had a robust population for YEARS despite only adding their college project level additions. Many of them were good and innovative but they were all amateur productions. Ascension had a robust population for years. Even in their...

Oh the fun police are here again.

They have something cooking for Starcraft that will take nearly 4 years to complete. There's been hints that it is really big and ambitious.

No we are all over the place.

In a way similar to OSRS here is what I hope plays out. Suppose you play for a few years and grind up some of the factions of the time for various crafting recipes. You get bored and quit playing for a few years. You come back, nobody really plays wherever that faction is anymore as there's...

I am really trying not to spoiler myself on neat gear but I have seen some interesting ones here and there. A blue lvl 20 axe that can mine ore nodes with charges. A low level ring that has a set pair with a high level ring for a really strong bonus. Which would keep high level players going to...

People will be sweaty here too. Make no mistake.

Dude, people ate up Turtle WoW with their amateur hour garage project updates and they kept attracting more and more players. When Forever is an astounding success watch more resources get dumped into it. If those guys could churn out content patches and mini expansions on a regular basis then...
