I can turn my Baron Geddon into either a Ancient of Lore or 1 Keeper, 2 Druid of the Claws, 1 Starfall, and 1 Violet Teacher (already have one). I'm thinking I should get all the cheaper ones first and then start saving up for the two Ancients. Sound about right?

Started playing a few days ago, really having a blast. I've found that I like to play the druid quite a bit and want to build a decent deck from blues and commons. I picked up a pack yesterday with a Baron Geddon and a Pit Lord. Took the dust from the Pit Lord and am wondering if I should do...

Co-dependent with a couple hookers. I salute you sir!

Analog rock...I never thought of it like that, but you're right. Groovy.

(except CO2) - the carbon is in it's highest oxidation state and can't be reduced by anything other than photosynthesis*. *biologically

Ya Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie are my favorite albums ever, literally the sound track of my 20's. Saw the Pumpkins in 1992 in a fairly small venue and that remains the best show I've ever seen. Still pisses me off how quickly it went downhill after that.

Huh? We already have open ocean fish farms. "Fish ranching" as you put it is already a thing and has been for quite some time, but has a host of problems that go along with it, namely disease and pollution. Why do you think they label and differentiate "wild caught" salmon at the grocery...

It's all about your resolution of prediction and amount of data that you plug in. Obviously if you only plug in temperature/precip. data from a few weather stations around the globe you aren't going to be able to predict the micro-climate in Indonesia for December. But with our increasingly...

Michael Jordan was a bitter guy? I would have never guessed.

Is John Rambone an X-Bro too?

If a 3D printer can make a perfectly seared, juicy, medium-rare steak that's warm in the middle then I will officially believe in magic.

Jesus I feel dirty for even being a part of the conversation now. Sorry to see him go, but completely understand his reasoning.

Dabamf - You can't spend a considerable amount of your posting efforts here on RR building your credentials as a psych expert in the late stages of grad school who knows the literature and knows the different courses of action that people in theDepressionthread have available to them and give...

Sounds nasty. Does penicillin help with that?

Looking at that shitty "art" her dad did I'm really wondering what lines her parents crossed. That kind of sexualized behavior in children just doesn't bubble up out of a vacuum. What a cunt, I'm glad I never watched her shitty show now.

So my next big adventure is going to take me to my university's field station on Navarino Island, Chile to study the thermal tolerances of the only true insect in Antarctica. Anyone have any experience down there? It's the southern most place inhabited by humans on planet Earth. I will be...

Jesus Christ dude. That's a helluva bedside manner you got there.... You should start up a practice with Aychamo...you could counsel all the girls he date rapes by telling them to make the most out of a bad situation and just lay back and enjoy the ride.

I was just bustin your balls a little bit.

Fine, I retract my point, you win. More green, three-tittied alien sluts please!

I wasn't making a judgement about Gravity. In fact, I haven't even seen it. I don't consume much pop culture these days beyond a few shows like Mad Men, Boardwalk, etc. But the average consumer of Hollywood movies doesn't read sci-fi novels or generally contribute to the economics of sci-fi...

Hahah! I'm totally creeped out, fascinated, and entertained. Jolly good show chap.

Good sci-fi will have enough science fact in it so it doesn't strain credulity.

Thanks to the last five pages or so I'm now looking at everyone's name to see if it's a scrambled up word referencing drugs or pop culture. God damnit.

Your reading comprehension is really bad. I never made any of those points, and I have no idea why you brought them up in response to my post. I simply made the point that I don't see any evidence of liberal brainwashing going on in public schools. That's it.

Jesus, just when I think you might be close to making a decent point you go full retard and blame all the problems of humanity on Democrats and liberalism. I bet you would have made a really loyal Tory back during the Revolution. Franklin and Jefferson were probably the two most liberal humans...

I get it. I can buy your reasoning, to a point. But believe it or not, kids have ALOT on their plate these days, especially the gifted ones. Tack on learning a slide rule on top of everything else that they have to learn in a modern technological world, and it just sounds unnecessary and...

Goes right back to what we value as a society. All the slide rules in the world aren't gonna stop dumbass kids from glorifying talent show singers and celebutards. Dumbass kids grow up to be dumbass adults who shit out more dumbass kids and one day you wake up to find yourself living in an...

Ahh, so the problem isn't in the tools we use, but how we use them and the problem really lies in our "philosophy" or more appropriately, culture. Couldn't agree more Tad. Ever noticed how in 1971 scientists were looked up to and glorified by society a lot more and we as a country took pride...

We have a lot of fucking problems with getting kids into, and being successful at, both science and math. Replacing calculators with slide rules is about 134th on the list of things that need to be done to address that.

We won WWII with B-52 bombers, Sherman tanks, and M1 Garands, and lost Vietnam with M-16s, helicopters, and jet fighters. Obviously if we would have fought Vietnam using WWII era implements we would have been successful. Tad logic.

Common core is shit, but you think we are gonna inspire the next generation to make more engineers and scientists by taking calculators out of the class room? That's a pipe dream. That's a good idea up until high school, but you really expect kids to do logs, exponents, long division...

I live in Dallas and have for almost twenty years, I can vouch, it's fucking terrible. Unless all you do on vacation is go to strip clubs and do cocaine....then it's awesome.

As someone who gave up on MMO's quite awhile ago except for the occasional 2 month romp in EQ for old times sake, that video was embarrassing. It was like some college kid put it together for a class project using every worn out cliche in the book. The epic, soaring, dramatic music didn't fit...

Someone make this happen.

That's awesome. Definitely gonna miss that little asshole. Bye for now.

Yep. Sounds good, I have no problems voting for marijuana.

Ross Perot for Denton County Comptroller!

What if there isn't even a third party to vote for on the ballot which happens a lot where I'm at? I'm sure me abstaining will really teach those dirty R's and D's a lesson!

Huh? Perhaps you haven't been paying very close attention to American politics for the last 200 years but that's EXACTLY what happens. Corporations have had our politicians in their pocket to do their bidding for so fucking long that our country knows of no other way to conduct its business...

Money trail is the last thing I would be worried about. I would worry about the random dumbass who I don't know on the other side mailing me drugs that also knows my address. If it's international, probably not so much though. I doubt the US government is going to swing their dick around...
