I'm sticking to the main companions as their stories tend to be pretty interesting, plus who could ever turn down the lovablr country bumpkin Eder?!? I decided to multiclass everyone so far which makes for a quite interesting mix of abilities. It's a good thing I did this for my main especially...

Holy cow. I thought the original was very cool, but nearly every aspect of the game system has been improved. Wandering overland is much more sensible and adventure focused without being just trapsing around a map in stealth mode, the combat abilities / resting system makes more cohesive...

I realized last night I had never actually finished the final battle in the original... Was not expecting the ending that I got and also did not realize the extent to which my decisions would impact the world. Not sure if I want to import into the sequel given the sad state of affairs.

So tried the StormSong zone on Beta and the storyline and overall experience was much better...for the first half of the zone. After the 'intermission' the second half was fairly lackluster and featured some of the worst quest geography I've ever encountered in a Razorfen Kraul like area of...

Exclusive: Thanos is coming to 'Fortnite' for epic 'Infinity War' crossover Their marketing people are just crushing it.

Its always entertaining coming into the class overhaul as part of the expansion pre-season and seeing which of the massive changes to classes you play irritates you the least. I really wanted to run with my Mistweaver Monk for this expansion but it just feels so damn clunky with these basic-ass...

Nathan Petrelli finally gets useful super powers

I happen to personally know many of the people engaged in the Assembly Integration and Test of JWST. I'd place the 'fuck this up' chance as northward of 70%

We need you at a 5... 5 and a half tops

Given the Press Release they put out I expect this is more than just a streaming service. I would expect it to include an All-Access 'Spotify' type model for ebook versions of comics.

I've loved BattleTech for ages since I got the original Battledroids box set for $2 at Big Lots. (Also got the Battlestar Galactica starship combat game there for $1) That having been said, the whole notion of mechs that walk around on two legs and thus are prone to falling down is just...

This is a good argument for subscription-based revenue streams... if you need to keep people happy to pull in the big bucks vs one time sales things are different.

I wonder what its like at Bungie right now. Do they know how bad it is? Surely they must right?

After someone mentioned that Destiny 2 was on sale at Best Buy for $10 this week I was motivated to think about how we got here. I rewatched the original opening cinematic complete with Bill Nighy's narration and you know what? I STILL want to play that game... The whole bit where the...

Very polished and highly thematic. Its an interesting spin on a 'city building' / 'resource gathering' game. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Eventually Rocket has to encounter a Racoon...

I made mention in a totally different thread about how incredibly awesome the original WoW vanilla zone designs were. Not only did they do all sorts of occlusion tricks to ensure the rendering and display of textures stayed butter smooth, but they also were incredibly efficient in terms of...

These bastards cannot offer me enough credit for any 'guard' mission. Fuck that noise especially when trying to protect things that are seemingly made out of graham crackers and frosting.

I think its safe to say that Thanos is not entirely sane... So ascribing completely rational behavior to him is somewhat pointless. That's not to say that his ideas are without merit, but he clearly never really thought all of this through.

Not bad as predictions go. I still feel that whatever happens in Avengers 4 will result in the Xmen / Fantastic Four popping into existence. I know Kevin Feige has said that there were no plans to use the FOX properties in Phase 4, but the man is a consumate showman and so his word cannot be...

I had not heard of this before PAX and it was quite an eye-opener for me. I am a huge fan of the setting and detective type games in general so I feel this is right up my alley. I also love that they give you the full decision web along with stats for both the world and your friends. I...

I think the global box office totals will be just a bit lower than they might otherwise be. Why? There are some members of what should be the core audience who wont see this because they feel they fell too far behind with the movies. One of my best friends missed Dr Strange, Black Panther...

Remember that in the MCU Wanda is not a mutant but rather a living product of the Mind stone. Since her power derives from the Mind stone itself it makes some sense.

I've always disliked master looting. I get the general concept and can see how it would be beneficial for a tightly woven team, but in practice there always was a lot of social engineering and drama that got folded into it, especially when you ML to gear up a dude who then skips town for...

I decided not to undo any of my deaths and power through and it is really costing me. My repair budget / time spent is crazy high and the monthly financial statement reads like a horror story... oh and I seem to get and kill a red shirt every damn mission.

The directors do an excellent job of emulating the 'style' of the different element franchises. It really feels like a crossover event as a result with different parts played out in different comics with the same creative team only giving a different side of the bigger picture.

I do say that given what I saw of Ashes of Creation at PAX I would be very much on board with Intrepid acquiring Daybreak and rebranding Ashes of Creation as Everquest 3. Of course what with having that huge booth at PAX and all the other marketing to date they have been aggressively working...

I have faith in Filoni. From the sounds of it its going to be very much like Rogue Squadron (the comic that is) just set a few decades later and dealing with Black Squadron and the whole shadow cold war between the Resistance and the First Order... basically the setting info it would have been...

Correct. Once you have 2 Tier 1 abilities selected then those levels for other skills just become dots. Sensor Lock seems pretty vital and is good to have on your scout-type person who can zip around and make sure that your target doesnt have a stupid number of Evasion ticks active.

I would like to say that I find the little vehicles with the LRMs to be incredibly annoying. Especially given that they are able to fire from waaaaay on the other side of mountains and just rain death down upon my poor squad. Also thank goodness for the 'realistic' travel times. My peeps...

That's Studio Mir and they are a South Korean studio, which isn't all that unusual given that a LOT of 'American' animation is actually done in South Korea.

Man oh man they do a terrible TERRIBLE job of explaining the rules of the game / how the combat system works etc. If I didn't already know how to play the tabletop version and have extensive experience with other Battletech Universe games I would be very confused.

I feel they don't get why Mistweaver was a fun class to play... Being able to move while channeling soothing mist was a core part of the enjoyment of the class as that steady stream of healing served as a nice buffer in quick paced events. It blows my mind that they keep ramping up the degree...

I feel that the biggest error of the Sequel Trilogy is the lack of scope of the whole thing. We go into TFA knowing less about the state of the galaxy then we did in A New Hope and that's a problem. If, and only if, you read or follow the ancillary material do you learn what happened after...

I was initially puzzled at the statement that there would be no DLC given the existence of the map room (even though is specifically says soandso will never be open). Then I realized they were likely gonna do the old fashioned 'sequel' rather than a DLC expansion and would be able to re-use...

Arcane Mage has only two Artifact Traits baked in. Both of them are talent options and so not only do you have to sacrifice something else to get them, but they are the same in name only as the actual effect has changed dramatically.

like terrigenesis?

I thought they said they would be baking in lots of the Artifact Weapon powers into the specs once they were yanked from us at the end of Legion? (Well presumably at the start of the patch where the whole engine shifts to the new one) They have stated that the difference between daily questing...

Metacritic on this is a decent 84 at the moment with most of the criticisms being aimed at some rendering issues more than the gameplay. Very much looking forward to this. I pushed to finish the core narrative of God of War last night just so I could dive into Battletech this evening.
