Everyone has to be expecting a "speak now or forever hold your peace..." moment, but the writers know that and may very well throw us a curve ball. With all the major changes that have been wrought over this season (classic rogues dying etc) I have to wonder if a Crisis-type event wont pop up...

Apparently they are now NOT going to recast Kate Kane and are instead going to have a totally new character take up the mantle of the Bat. This seems like a terrible idea.

From the poster that was released with the show we know who the new Wildcat, Hourman, and Dr. MidNite are....I wonder who the new Thunderbolt / Fate / Lantern are...

Cobb Squad bitches!!

https://www.firesofheaven.org/threads/outriders-squeenix-looter-shooter.11744/ Already has a thread. It's also Outriders, not Outsiders.

The JSA headquarters was super nerdtastic.

Because of the sale I bought this yesterday and found myself a bit overwhelmed after the most elementary parts of the tutorial. I'm gonna have to go back and try again when my mind is clearer

The game has a very Ultima Online feel to it. I have to wonder about any possible longevity after the initial exploration / settling phase is spent though.

The projectile reflect ability is also one that is much more useful than I would have though simply by virtue of how much damage those snipers do on Apocalypse. Bouncing that shit back at them is very nice.

Its worth it though because the secret unlocked zones are excellent places to farm items. I finally switched my default build from Soul-based archery to one where I am a tank with a big sword but still using Souls to heal. Its a bit annoying that you can't respec an item so if possible make...

With the passing of Fred Willard we re-watched Wall-E last night. It still holds up as amazing and a true testament to the PIXAR that was.

This was.. not good. Watched the first two episodes and then skipped to the end to see if things got better after they found their legs. They did not. The show ultimately couldn't decide if it wanted to be an Airplane/Police Squad type farce or a more subtle dark humour comedy and that is...

The documentary film crew has to be Colin Robinson's doing yeah?

Some secrets don't always exist on any given run of a map. Take note of the number of secrets available on the map view and rarely it will increase indicating you have a chance at one of the special secrets that unlock new zones. There's also some sort of thing going on with the church back at...

Show is back for the final season and it looks like they are going to tie up as many loose ends as they can. Hail Hydra!

Yeah they only released the first ten. Their interface is a hot mess...it's really a travesty.

Stormlight really does need to be animated. Especially given the very alien nature of the flora / fauna of the planet outside Shinovar.

I have stumbled into a build that I find super-effective to the point where I am not sure I can really diverge from it too much. Also note that there are a number of secret things in the game. Opened up a whole additional region and I suspect there are more.

They do have the new HBO Max original Looney Tunes that they created emulating the original style of the theatrical shorts. No idea why this wasn't one of the highlighted items on their main home page...

So this went live today. You can watch any episode of Friends that you want. ... Elmo has a talk show? Really the only thing of value I see is the ability to stream Studio Ghibli films for the first time.

Very similar to Diablo 3 console in terms of controls.

It has some interesting synergies and complexities when you get to the higher difficulty levels and with some of the more creative items. It really leans into the premise of being as creative as they can with the set of tools that exist within the ecosystem.

Re-reading Wax and Wayne series and cursing again that the Skyward stuff has caused such a delay. The Wax and Wayne sequence is so wonderfully steampunk and would be relatively easy to adapt. It's a shame no one is actively chasing these projects.

Lucas had always seen Star Wars as an homage to the weekly adventure serials of the depression era. Clone Wars was a fully realized version of that ideal combined with newsreels. I can only hope that what comes next is half as good. They need to learn from the mistakes of Resistance.

At one point in the first season they make a comment about how many torpedos they have on board and we're very careful not to waste any. By season 7 they were pew-pewing them all over the place willy nilly, not to mention all the shuttles and delta-flyers they went through.

They officially renewed for a third season on Friday. Honestly I'm surprised they waited this long to do so. I did a double take when I saw the news item scroll past as I was certain that it had to have already happened.

So Nadja is one of the hosts on the Great Flower Fight...when did she have the time??

Is this awful? It feels like its awful. I have the sensation that I don't move nearly as fast as I should and that the levelling upgrades arent terribly meaningful

I figured the other guy was gonna also be an energy vampire, but boy am I glad I was wrong

75 year old mother-in-law who was already on oxygen taken to ER with trouble breathing. Because no one is allowed to accompany patients the family is stuck with only the information a stroke-victim is able to relate via telephone. Was stabilized but they found other cardio issues and is thus...

This is why private control of large scale infrastructure is a bad idea. Boyce Hydro bought the dam (and three others) when it was already in bad shape and in need of massive repairs, but instead of doing that they just pulled what revenue they could out of the system while playing lawyer-tag...

4th edition was created specifically to be more crpg-friendly and then failed to actually create any licensed games that made use of this. Neverwinter was nominally based on the 4th edition, but even that was heavily modified. 4th edition gets a bum rap. I always thought it was the most...

Good use of Luke Wilson. Was worried there for a bit that it was going to be a super slow burn, but the third act made up for it.

Someone brought up an interesting wrinkle in the whole 'return to office' plan -- bathrooms. Even if we were to do something that made the giant open floorplan less prone to disease transmittal we only have one bathroom per floor.

Aww Ben and Number 5 get to be in on the song

The original series is up on Netflix now and is trending as a lot of people re-watch and even more check it out for the first time. (I know many people who never even thought to look at it in the past because it was associated with Nickelodeon.) Still makes me yearn for a third Avatar series...

To be honest the people at work who are most eager to be back in the office fall into two categories: 1) Social butterflies that spend the majority of their day flirting from flower patch to flower patch and not actually working 2) Parents and/or other people who do not want to be at home with...

Going into this I did not know this was the end of the DC Animated New 52 Universe. This now makes the upcoming Superman: Man of Tomorrow make a lot more sense as the start of a new sequence.

A great many people are asking this same question. Obviously not everyone as there are plenty of jobs that still require a physical presence to work on equipment or with product etc., but for anyone who spends their days sitting in front of a computer punctuated only by moving to a video...
