The Bad Batch arc was quite good. Lots of really dynamic 'camera work' that showcases just how much better at overall cinematography they've gotten. Id like to think that, as rejects, they never got the chip and also managed to survive past the Clone Wars.

Well how about this then...

I really like Cristobal Rios and the holograms. I didn't even realize that the actor was the artist/painter dude from Heroes.

This is available for streaming now, a few days ahead of its original schedule owing to Coronavirus (and trying to capitalize on people stuck at home)

This is on Disney+ this Sunday, 3 months ahead of schedule. Disney is trying to make people feel less stressed in this troubling time by having kids drive their parents mad with looped musicals.

Picked this up on a lark and I am quite surprised by how dynamic and fun it is. It has tactical battles like an OgreBattle or Xcom, but has an overarching storyline like Fable mixed with a legacy style boardgame.

The test itself that has been developed in the U.S. is like something out of a victorian novel. Its incredibly labor intensive as a very precise but arcane series of chemicals are applied to the sample and nearly all the work is done by hand. A good technician can, apparently, only process...

Delayed again, this time due to COVID-19. They just need to stop trying to release this thing.

It's a weird take on the digital toy idea space.

I guess this is Tabletop...

Damn. I am looking for a COVID game to play and this seemed very appropriate. I guess I can look at the backlog?

Thinking back I think this is my favorite game of the current Generation. I was not expecting this at all, but there you go.

Renewed for a 3rd, and final, season.

Oh so they are actually working on a MMORPG afterall? Cool cool cool...

That was the fun of the original movies and even the prequels. We were seeing specific episodes in the story but there was so much room for peoples imagination to run wild between those tentpoles. TLJ was TFA part 2 and that crippled any possibility of broader character or plot development...

Finally saw this on digital and it was...okay. The songs were nice and I liked that Kristof got an 80s power ballad to sing, but the plotline was more than a little contrived and there was too much Olaf. He needed to be dialed back about 50% and Kristof needed his own secondary plot other...

Note: using a controller for this is almost mandatory. I finally switched when i realized I needed to remap the party key and noticed the controller setup. Big difference in quality of life, for me anyway.

It's "One Million Moms" aka the 50 or 60 sandy vagina'd cunts who also freak out if the word 'shit' is used on a Disney Channel show.

Sorry for the low rez. Classes seen at PAX include : Necromancer, Red Guard, Demolitionist, and Hatchet. They are 4 of the 6 'basic' classes at the start of Frosthaven.

Is there value in picking this up if you are a person, like myself, who never went past the first endgame content blurb? I think I played until the 'raid' was released but I can't be sure to be perfectly honest.

I was checking this out at PAX and was intrigued. Oddly they did not let on that it was coming out in early access immediately...which you would have thought would be first and foremost in mind during their spiel.

What does SyFy have left? Seems like their renaissance that happened with Expanse Magicians and Killjoys is now over

I learned that I've been pronouncing 'mako' wrong all these years... I too found the difficulty to be very low. Granted this is a demo and you start out at level 7 or so and that might have something to do with it. They also might want you to feel superhuman to get people to buy in based on...

Graham and Ryan leaving after the already-filmed xmas special. Yaz will continue on as the presumably sole companion.

Yeah you can't do a whole Mindflayer based game without Githyanki. Of course I would also say you can't do it without Psion as a class but 5e still hasn't figured out what to do about Psionics. 4e Psionics worked really well, so much so that I kinda wonder if you couldn't just shoehorn the 4e...

Well that certainly did upend everything we knew about Gallifrey and the Time Lords in general... The Daleks have to be suuuuuper pissed that it was the Cybermen that got to a destroyed Gallifrey ahead of them. Even more so if the Master saved some of his CyberLords when he escaped. The big...

How badass was the opening cinematic though? I mean seriously that was incredibly well done and its clear that Hasbro / Larian is going all-in on this. This is exceptionally smart for Hasbro as D&D was very nearly dead 6ish years ago but then Acquisitions Incorporated, Vox Machine, and Dice...

Almost certainly. I've been avoiding touching any surface and still everyone is drowning themselves in purell, but there's only so much one can do.

At the first panel for this at PAX East. It's a bit awkward as it's clear that some SQuenix types were meant to be here. I really like that this is not a game as a service but has a strong single story in the box with an actual end. They seem like they have bigger ideas for a universe but...

I did read one article that gave a well reasoned justification for their preference for RTWP. The argument was they could cue up multiple actions and have lots of simultaneous stuff going on, especially movement and reaction abilities. I will concede that turn-based games don't have the same...

Clearly the Illithids are a major part of the plot as we heard from the gameplay reveal, but they are even incorporating their ships from Spelljammer.

I likewise used the Plano boxes, picked em up from REI dirt cheap and they work very well

Thought for sure with a WoW expansion and Overwatch 2 coming out that there would be a big Blizzard presence at PAX... Nope. Only thing was a large 'normal' booth off to the side with Overwatch League stuff (that essentially no one was visiting)

I wanna show this game to the me of the past who was blown away by Pool of Radiance and watch his mind snap....

Nice its coming to Steam on March 13th and Steam vs Epic crossplay will work.

At 1:16 in the video you can see another view of that same whiteboard from the side as someone is writing. At this point they have circled "No single (main) character" and "The Force" but below that also have: moral but subtle good vs evil intergenerational adventures force growth layered...

The Ferengi were the real standouts for me. The storylines involving them plus the look into their culture etc. While they were often played for laughs it was still a great allegory for society in general, especially when you had scenes like this. Actually of all the cultures explored in...

Based on comments here I picked up Last Epoch and have been playing it some. It feels less slick than Wolcen, but that may be expected due to the lack of complex audio and polish that Wolcen applied as part of their final release. Of somewhat more concern is that I've ran the exact same...
