Well the are America's Most Watched Broadcast Network, so this gives them ample opportunity for hubris that removes them completely from competitive reality. Then again that distinction is about as dubious as being the leading door-to-door ice vendor in 1935

Well... anyone who might have considered not pirating it originally is sure to do so now. I mean fuck them in the first place for having it on Netflix everywhere but the U.S. but if they figure they can just get an extra 1-2 months of subscription time** out of folks by inserting a 10 week gap...

That really was perfect casting for Easter. Is this a slow burn? Yeah it is, but Gaiman is taking this opportunity to refine things and I'm A-OK with it. Oh and if Orlando Jones doesn't get at least a nomination for his turn as Mr. Nancy I may have to go smack a bitch.

I had a lot of faith in Coco...when it was called "The Book of Life" and came out a couple years ago...

Yeah its less of a 'short' and more of a 'minor feature' at that length. Especially when paired with a movie that has a 76 minute running time.

Okay 'Arms', what's the verdict here people? It seems like you need a second set of joycons to really get the most out of it so this would be a very expensive title to pick up...

I've been keeping an eye on the supply that is hitting the market since I still get the daily email blast from my Realtor. There's been a real dearth of properties hitting the market since the start of June, so the 'spring selling season' is likely slowing down. With the supply drying up...

With the coming of original Xbox backward compatibility perhaps we will see a nostalgia push for Jade Empire. Jade Empire and Crimson Skies were two big titles on the original Xbox that surprisingly never got updates for the 360 and on.

Trying to get things back on track: This week answers the question of what a Sweeney and Dead Wife Olde Tyme Variety Hour would look like, and it would be amazing. I actually found myself forgetting that Emily Browning was playing both roles as she did an excellent job with both. We also got...

Is it just me, or is Mrs. Beakley looking like a bit of a badass at the end of that intro?

Interesting that they are doing that with the Artifact Knowledge. They must have realized that people were not logging in often enough to keep their AK research up-to-date.

This market is indeed pretty freaking insane. It puts sellers and seller's agents in a very commanding position. They know that anything even remotely nice is going to go in that first bidding process and that if any hiccups come along during the sale they will be able to slide a new offer in...

Just need to never return it... Set up shop on a decent sized planetoid and start cranking out industrial bits for everyone else outside a planetary gravity well.

After having her lug around that big techy-looking staff in TFA I was really hoping that Rey would be a dual-saber / light-staff wielder ala Maul / Satele Shan. Possibly also having her be more of a Jedi Consular than a Jedi Knight... but ah well.

Stupid knowledge, how dare I receive education!!!

Its June already and all we have to show for it is one novella included in a collection? Unacceptable! How dare he not put out at least 1 major new title every other month!!

I am of two minds. It is indeed awesome that Netflix is behind this show 100% and that the quality of it is so incredibly high. The longer and more successful it is, the less likely the creators will be to go back for a 3rd generation of Avatar

Reminds me that I haven't read 1984 in quite some time... I should revisit it. There are some iconic books that seem to take on new relevance and meaning as you enter different phases of life.

The Chromie thing is just what was needed for filthy casuals that still have an element of semi-hardcore leanings. Between this and the old withered scenario from Suramar I think they have a very nice new content stream.

Wait what? Copper has a lifetime of 20-25 years? Aren't there buildings well over a century old which have copper plumbing? I was speaking with someone who was boasting about how their pipes were 'reclaimed copper' that had previously been in use in some art deco building.

It was less an income thing as these were very nice houses that were either new construction or complete down-to-the-studs remodels in much the same style as you see all over Somerville. It was more that I was being actively glared at by the other people viewing the home, the realtor, etc.

I will say that when I was looking at houses earlier in the month I was always the only white person at every open house in Brockton. I actually looked at the 3rd house on the list above when it first hit the pre-market, it is definitely a place to show off.

Wow it does look real purdy at high resolution on a PC (note that you need to make sure that YouTube is set to the max resolution your monitor can support otherwise you are just getting crappy 720p upscaled like mad) However I think most everyone I know, despite being PC gamers at their core...

So clearly this is the Banuk tribe

The video, she is unavailable.

I play an Arcane mage and yes it is VERY chatty and talks shit about everyone, especially the wielder.

You know if this was a Marvel movie that we'd have learned that Diana got preggers from that one-night-stand with Steve resulting in a post-credit scene of dropping the newborn girl off at house with 'Hinkley' on the mailbox.

Holy mother forking shirtballs. That was awesome. I feel compelled to purchase one of their games for the sheer chutzpah of it all.

Holy Destiny/Division flashbacks... I mean sure it looks great, but so did those.

The Darwin Project business with the streaming integration is indeed very Hunger Games / Running Man

My only fear is that Guerilla Games and Sony did not seem to fully appreciate what a monster hit they had on their hands. Subsequently I don't think they have even started working on a sequel as they are hip deep in their next project.

Squeeeee!!!! Spoilers for massive easter egg this week

Anthem looks...well I guess we will see more tomorrow but my first impression is DestinyFall

I actually like Killjoys a bit more, but really SyFy the last couple of years has been an embarrassment of riches. One wonders what they might have been had they not had those dark years between Sci-Fi Friday's heyday and now.

Ack! I never finished last season... I need to get on that

Had the house inspection today and things were going along great. Clear indications that the original builder had done things the right way and what few issues found were relatively minor... Then he got to the attic and found mold. There isn't a ton of mold, just some dalmatian-like dark...

I should honestly have seen the writing on the wall at PAX East. There presentation there should have been a pre-victory lap if things were solid, but instead they were incredibly reserved about everything when talking to people and Walters was outright defensive.

The pressure on the 'Dylan' team has got to be insanely high now. When they started working on it they had two mega-selling IPs in Mass Effect and Dragon Age that they could rely on as well as substantial promise of continued revenue growth from SWTOR. SWTOR still makes some decent coin as I...

I read that article and I think one of the critical issues is present in the original thesis for "ME4" -- the success of Mass Effect was not about exploration for the sake of exploring, it was about exploration that was driven by core plot and character elements. There was no way that a...

I've been on Omeprazole for over a decade now and yeah it does take a good long time to get 'started' so don't expect to feel better until after that initial two week period. I actually don't get 'heartburn' in the classic sense which is why I was able to miss that my esophagus was getting...
