So today the first three episodes of Powers unlock and then another episode comes every Tuesday for the rest of the season. This is a slight variation on what Netflix does with their binge-watch from day one scenario, but at least they put enough content out initially so you can get a feel for...

So very awesome that they are using images from his scenes on the 90s Flash to show what happened 20 years ago.

I'm going to be very annoyed if they kill off Roy so that Thea can become Speedy.

Mother of God what have they done to the McDonald's menu board? I was driving through a distant suburb the other day and decided I wanted some fries so I swung into a newish looking MikeyDs. The menu board was almost incomprehensible with some bastard hybrid of Extra Value Meals (still with...

Don't say you weren't warned...

Yeah as much as it makes sense for Widow to be the one to die (she has no announced solo movie) I really don't see them offing what was the only female Avenger and is still just one of two with Scarlet Witch being added.

I'm guessing Mockingbird is working for Fury in his new capacity of whatever. Probably forming S.W.O.R.D. Interesting how quickly they go from super power fanboys to "we hate muta...I mean Inhumans". I'm not convinced that the blind guy is actually Reader since we've only seen him teleport...

Yeah the season was very slow, almost glacial in fact. The entirety of the plot focused on a single planet whereas we were used to lots of face paced switches from front to front during the Clone Wars. I will say that they spent their time on character development and seem to have done a...

I cant believe that Jeffrey Combs wasn't actually Dollmaker. I figured he was just teasing about being the administrator... Why you would have Jeffrey Combs on your show and then sacrifice him the next episode is just head scratching.

I saw it this weekend and I was entertained. The movie had some big pacing issues, notably among the repeating theme of Jupiter getting kidnapped by one of her space relatives but I did like the style elements and the root story concept of immortality resulting from using humans as a cash crop...

Leonard Nimoy "Spock" dead at the age of 83

It is kinda cool how this picture has turned into an accidental color bias example. Even looking at the picture of the dress in proper lighting where it is clearly blue and black does not help me see the photo as anything but white and gold (or very pale blue and brownish)

Well since we know that the Lazarus Pits do exist in the Arrowverse I suppose Nyssa could go do something crazy and revive Sarah who then takes on a new identity... I mean if you have her in the same universe it would be very odd to be a different character. As far as names go they have a lot...

Remember Brandon Routh was always supposed to be the Blue Beetle because he's a tech-based super hero which was more fitting with the overall non-superpowered vibe that Arrow has going on. At the last minute before the season started filming Warner Bros / DC said "no can do Blue Beetle" and...

I wondered what they would do for the stinger and I was suitably surprised. In retrospect it makes perfect sense and ties in well with the Captain America movies.

I actually have taken to randomly turning around when being chased just for this reason and people often break off. I call it the "Han Solo" maneuver

I got the raid quest dude in my Garrison and had to hunt around for someone with the profession vendor since I am actually a tailor. I can see where it gets people visiting each other's Garrisons in ways maybe that the Invasions never did...but meh.

Black people in superhero comics are A-OK so long as they only have one eye...

This is why those marketing campaigns are so big come Oscar time. Because the number of voters in the Academy is relatively small and skewed heavily towards people who are pretty distant from the creative process in each category. I mean there's as many people in the Public Relations branch as...

Okay its the last Tuesday of sweeps and instead of showing a new episode of The Flash they are leading with a special about TV commercials and then airing a rerun? What moron is in charge of programming at the CW? Sure I can understand going into reruns for March due to local and national...

Brightwing is free-to-play this week and holy schnikes he's strong. Kinda challenging to play of course, but man he's handy.

I sure do hope this Cris...err Secret Wars thing this year just plain erases most of what happened with mutants for the past 10 years. Everytime I get an itch of nostalgia to check out the Xmen comics I see stuff like the above and just give up.

I suspect this is because you have ample opportunity to see a complete tactical picture of what is going on when you are dead and nothing else to do but bitch.

I think if you like "Everything is Awesome" over "Glory" it makes you into a bad person. Luckily I'm totally okay with that.

Oooo they said the word!

Yeah I think they are somewhat following the premise of the original movie. Furthermore I'm pretty sure that there are timeline changes with each episode and every time Cole goes back to 2043, but most of the time he doesn't notice because the change isn't too radical. But yeah sending...

Well they did sell the idea of Diablo 3 to their shareholders with the RMAH providing a steady source of income. They clearly want some sort of regular cash I fusion outside of traditional expansions

Pffft Night Room corpse is Cole. Jennifer commented about the eyes just like she was talking about Cole's eyes earlier, plus when Cole was close to it he was getting paradox effects.

The Great SIM Heist: How Spies Stole the Keys to the Encryption Castle Fascinating notion, bypass warrants and the carriers entirely and just decrypt from intercepts of raw signal

Many good points. Especially after stating that Dearborn would be somewhat like Timeless Isle only a whole continent worth of content. Instead we get a fuckton of art and assets blown on a ho-hum levelling content and then a couple of mini daily areas within each zone to come back to for...

Oooo nice! Looking forward to this. I do like how the whole nature of 'TV' programming has changed now with these new content producers.

From the preview for next week's episode Fish is speaking to a Doctor Duhlmaker (Dollmaker) who is indeed the guy behind the organ harvest of the kids earlier in the season.

So Apexis Crystal items in 6.1 go up to ilevel 670 yet Raid Finder is 650 with very terrible item budgeting? This seems just wacky to me. At this point I think the sole reason for someone to do Raid Finder BRF is for rune stones for the legendary.

Still wondering why 6.1 is 6.1. Usually the .X patches are content patches and the headliners for this patch are Twitter, Blood elf models, and color blindness. Is anyone near enough to 900 rune stones that extending the legendary quest is significant at this point? That seems to be the only...

Actually I did like having restricted spell bars. Not necessarily to the extent that GW2 does and maybe not the "overcome by looking at a spellbook for a few seconds" but perhaps similar to how dual-spec works in WoW where you can define a limited number of "builds" that you can switch between...

I dunno. A lot of the positive reviews on metacritic seem to come from the "who did you blow to get included in Metacritic" sites.

Taking the Flashpoint route would be a good way to shake things up for the start of the second season. Could have Barry be depowered and trying to figure out what the hell is going on and have the city protected by Citizen Cold if they can grab Wentworth Miller for a nice chunk of episodes...

Reviews are out from the more mainstream sources and are all terrible. Well some go as far as to say uninspired and mediocre, others go way into "crime against humanity" mode. Personally learning that the game is NOT about fighting supernatural beasties is what makes me scratch my head.

They did say at the end that they we're going to work on figuring out their powers and we previously saw the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. research was about transmutation so I think they will get there eventually but are taking their time to do so. Much in the same way that merging into proper Firestorm...

Fuck yeah. That's Firestorm. God Damnit no new episodes until March 17th?!?
