I don't know one way or the other, but I have to imagine that this kind of min-maxing is pointless for the average person. If lifting at a certain time of day does give an advantage, it's only going to matter for the truly hardcore, i.e competitive bodybuilders and power lifters.

Thread necro, but I just started watching this on Netflix out of boredom and learning that H. Jon Benjamin stars. Holy shit it's hilarious and more people need to watch it. Bob is funny, but the kids take the funny to the next level. I think Louise is one of my all-time favorite animated...

The corporate world is such bullshit in every. single. way.

Yes, I think i would have had more nerd rage over shoehorning Aragorn into the movie than Legolas. At least Legolas has a logical reason to show up at some point, although I have a feeling he's going to play a much larger role than he should. He should just have a short walk-on cameo in the...

Three Ninjas Kick Back

In my experience, if you politely ask people, "Do you mind if I sit there?" almost everyone will gladly move their bag/leg/whatever to make room for you (assuming it's actually crowded and you're not some weirdo trying to sit next to someone on an empty train). *disclaimer* Do not try...

and Jayden Smith will star as a face-shifted, assassin Arya who finally learns that danger is real, but fear is a choice.

I was going to vote for Stern for ruining basketball, but then I remembered basketball has always been a shitty sport and will always be a shitty sport. I voted for Goodell, but after reading this thread and learning about Bettman (I don't give a shit about hockey) I want to change my vote to...

Victarion will die before Dany, and most likely at the hands of Dany and her dragons. All you gay pirate-Victarion lovers need to go rub one out to Pirates of the Caribbean and accept the fact that Dany is going to kick some ass when she gets back with her hoard of Dothraki screamers.

Lego people are pretty damn resilient. You can break them into the separate pieces, but it's very difficult to actually destroy each individual piece. At most they might lose half of their hands.

I wish we could somehow pit North Korea against the entire Middle East and have them destroy each other.

I don't like watching Pete because I have very similar sideburns, and it reminds me that I have sideburns that were in fashion in the 1960s.

I'm calling it now: this is going to be the next Toy Story.

I'm firmly in Dany's camp. She's awesome and her storyline is awesome and I hope she arrives in Westeros and just lays waste to everyone and everything. Except Davos, cause he's also awesome. I especially want to see her burninate the fuck out of Bran and his gay little company of heroes.

Whatever happened to that girl who played Matilda and the young daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire? http://www.cracked.com/blog/7-reason...s-perspective/ Apparently she's living a normal, happy life. That's an interesting read about why most of these young actors end up so badly.

Has that ever stopped Hollywood before?

I saw a guy at my gym going for a personal record on his bench press a while ago. He walked up, loaded the fuck out of the bar, and went at it. Unfortunately the genius loaded an extra plate on one side so he lifted it and promptly almost killed himself as it crashed down slant-wise on him. Good...

Superman might ignore the collateral damage, but Hardee's knows what's up:

Truth.

Congo

I have to concur...well, second best just behind Pete's knocked-the-fuck-out scene from last season. Anyway, when they told Don to act like a baby I thought for sure Don was going to give his "you're fucking kidding me" look and ruin the demonstration.

Are you sure all of the symptoms you listed are related? It sounds like you're going about this assuming everything is connected, but isn't it possible that some of them are completely separate issues? For example, the joint pain (arthritis) and headaches. What makes you think these are...

A nice watch serves as an excellent "MUG ME" sign when you're walking down the street. Of course, maybe the fact that I live in a shit hole has jaded me a bit.

Ah yes I had forgotten about that call he made. That makes sense. I still don't think he did anything wrong regarding the budget scenario, though.

I concur. And even better, go in as a customer on the 4th of July and browse around just to show that you could have worked but didn't because she's a fucking asshole.

I don't get why Peggy and Ted were so angry with Don. He saved that account by sending the budget and coming up with the Gleason lie. If he hadn't sent the budget the guy from the company would have lost his shit; he was already pissed as it was at the increase in the cost he agreed to despite...

World War Z

I love the fact that Pete still has that gun from season 1(?) in his office.

All I ever see is RG3 eating subs.

I'm still waiting for Gavinrad's essay. If he had posted it already I'd have known about this bit of knowledge.

Little Caesar's Deep Deep Dish pizza is pretty good. Much better than their regular pizza. It kind of tastes like crazy bread with pizza on top.

The most unrealistic thing about these 300 movies is how hairless Xerxes is. Persians are hairy gorillas.

What the fuck

WTB side prequel novella "The Adventures of Syrio Forel - First Sword of Braavos".

Looks great. I generally don't give a shit about which actors are in which movie, but I am willing to give anything with Leo DiCaprio in it the benefit of the doubt and see it at least once.

Trying to explain the All-American Superman to a dirty Russian. Don't bother.

Opening a fun size pack of Starbursts and getting two yellows.

Minding my own business in my car in a parking lot and having some vain douchebag use my window to check out his hair.

Yeah, all of those "new" Burger King sandwiches are pretty damn good. Even their sundaes and smoothies are delicious now. I really like the retooled menu they introduced last summer. Of course, you pay through the nose for it. The last time I ate at Burger King was several months ago, but I...

It's easy to follow but it's not entertaining at all. Unless you're extremely charismatic or funny (you are neither) why would I want to watch this video when I could just as easily play it myself?
