Yeah they've shown 2v2 tourneys before. I don't think i've ever seen a mixed 2v1 in a legit tourney though. Somewhat strange dynamic. It is a nice loooking game, and pretty decent watch. Doesn't quite fill the marvel hype area, but few things do.

Sounds like it’s just a making an alternate way to call already specified spells instead of having to mem them each and you can just use 4 gems to cast them by a fantasy version of page, column, row, itemid. Seems like a qol hack with flavor instead of actually doing anything with the spells...
