I don't trust OCZ with their spotty reliability. We got burned at where I work after we bought ~100 OCZ drives and had about a 15% failure rate. Maybe they are better now that they went bankrupt and got bought out by Toshiba.

Mostly for other applications imo. As far as gaming goes, if you take/encode any game play video or do any twitch streaming the i7 had benefits there for sure.

I use keepass / dropbox and passphrases, not the randomly generated passwords. That way I can still login to the stuff I use daily without having to open the password manager. If I forget a password I can go get it from keepass.

The point is that you can run those AA settings on a 1080 monitor and it will look better than a 1440 monitor with no or lower AA settings. I think most people here would say that there is a significant difference between this: and this: and that's at a lower (2x) AA setting.

I agree that you get diminishing returns when going to the higher levels of AA, but to say that at 1440 you do not need any AA because of the higher resolution is just misinformation to the people in this thread looking for hardware advise. Even at 4k AA makes a huge difference...

+1 for kindle paperwhite. I Also have the Nook which isn't bad but the lighting on the kindle is a little better imo.

Yeah, no way. At 1440 look at the tops of fences, power lines, buildings etc - AA makes a huge difference. Fire up Tomb Raider and watch watch a zip line as you cycle through AA settings, you would have to be blind not need AA.

I have the H100i and stock fans, it's pretty much silent on the lower settings. The temp difference between 50% fan speed and 100% was so small that I never saw the reason to change out the fans. Did you guys with aftermarket fans see that much of a temp drop to make it worth it?

It's worse. TN is bottom of the barrel in everything except response times / refresh.

Just turn your mouse speed/dpi way up - you will only have to move your fingers with minimal wrist movement.
