I went with Chunks based on reviews over the chips. They are said to last longer with less smoke loss, yes I will soak them for a good 30mins for the preseason process and maybe an hour for the meat.

I do too, however if you filter it down with a mix of regular Sculpin its not to bad. I drink beer to wash hot food down, and the habanero is no joke.

I generally flavor it the first time with vegetable oil and bacon grease for cast iron and did the same practice this morning on the grill. After ever use I rub Crisco on it after cleaned.
