    CCNA this year

HR Departments (in the UK at least) bundle all CV's they receive into one big pot, then filter out on specific keywords. One of those is usually like CCNA / CCNP. In my experience from hiring system / networking engineers, I don't really care about CCNA because the qualification lost nearly...

GNS3 on Linux is excellent if you cannot get access to the Cisco Packetshaper (or whatever it's called) one. It lets you build up virtual networks by configuring up routers etc then run simulations (pull a cable, break BGP etc.) You'll need to get an IOS firmware pack from a torrent site...

I'd say make a fourth strike but I wouldn't trust them with that game given the shambles that is SF4.

Why bother with 4k, there's no content yet and early adopters of new standards are always the first in line to get screwed.

I don't see how anyoneneedsSLI Titan's, but to those of you who "do" there's another one; 5,760 CUDA cores, 12GB memory and prolly causes a $250 bump in electricity for the year.

Well if they just took out that 15 seconds (which I presume is googling "old start menu" then downloading a small file) then reviewers then people could stop whinging at Redmond for stoically ignoring the feedback they've been getting since day 1.

Looks like a black Macbook Pro, which is a good thing, though things like the touch screen are meaningless to me so I'd prolly just buy the Macbook if I was going to that price range.

Check how congested wireless channels are in your area during peak time. If everyone is on channel 11 for example it'll slow things down, especially when everyone gets home. Pick whichever channel has the lowest amount of broadcast points.

It doesn't encrypt the whole drive...otherwise the operating system wouldn't be able to boot without the private key being typed in. It actively searches for files like jpeg..pdf...xls..doc..docx - files which are typically user generated and people would pay to get back. If you do daily...

I have a latest model air. I bumped up the SSD to 512GB and in 5 months of use I've never run into any issues with storage. I think 512Gb is plenty, but I archive off things like movies and music to shares on a NAS drive and seldom need to have them actually on the laptop.
