Anyone had any joy getting any Debian flavoured or RHEL OS's behaving properly on a new Macbook Air? Google-fu suggests it's rife with issues but I know there's some talent lurking around this thread.

Alienware are prolly your best bet. Unfortunately that means staring at an ugly piece of illuminated piece of shit til you update again. Maybe have a look at that Razer laptop? I knew someone who imported the 14" one but he's a bit of a fanboy so I wouldn't trust his "it's amazing!!!!!"...

Forbes article got PEWPEWPEW'd off the internet

There's a McD's in Cardiff which is rammed pretty much all day every day. It's like when you go to a supermarket on Christmas Eve and every till is busy - except non-stop. However even though it's stupidly busy all the damn time the staff are always awesome, never got my order wrong and...

Join.me works pretty well across all platforms. You can get 10 shares on the free version (used to be 25) and up to 250 on the paid one - which also has a free trial. I used to use Cisco webEx but always hated it, since join.me i've not used anything else.

black islamist beheads British soldier in London

The people casually walking by with their phones out didn't really look terrorized to me. Perhaps we should stop calling this guy an Islamic terrorist, and just what he is - a maniac.

Also bare in mind that for an encryption algorithm to be considered "broken", that means someone has found a way quicker than brute forcing to decrypt it. Even if in that "quicker" way would still take sixty thousand years.
