Can confirm: Boss Katana is pretty excellent, especially for the money (I have the 100w 112, rigged up to a Marshall 4x12 cab). But, if you're going to do any gigging with it, I HIGHLY recommend the GA-FC footswitch. And it is absolutely giggable. If you like Boss pedals, you'll like the Katana.

Another Thornley interview from a few days ago from Anderton's UK. This one is better imo. Ian's playing is, as usual, superb, but I really enjoyed him talking about his influences, and the slide playing at the very end is monstrous.

Figured this would go here. Great interview with Ian Thornley. He plays and talks technique, gear, and pretty much geeks on guitar out for close to an hour.

Been a huge fan for many years and I'm excited to see Ian put out something a little different than the BW material. I hope it hits!

I'm a fan although I don't love everything he does. The good stuff is really good, and if he'd just stick to not trying to rock out too hard, he'd be all win. Burn To Shine is my personal favorite album of his, and Both Sides of the Gun is pretty awesome as well.

I spent so many hours playing 1 and 3 on my C64. I skipped 2 for some reason. Never beat 1 because my dungeon disk got crimped shortly after I completed the catacombs. After yesterday's patch my frame rate issues outdoors disappeared. Exponentially increased my enjoyment of the game.
