    Steam dun fucked up

I don't even know how this should be possible. I doubt Valve did any major updates the past few weeks, and these types of systems don't just randomly go crazy like this. Considering the day and severity I'm going to put my money on this being malicious.

I should also add that, in a lot of ways, this is the final straw breaking the camel's back. Judges are generally treated like shit by WotC considering everything they do.

a_skeleton_03 has it right here. All this means is that future leaks will be posted anonymously to Reddit/imgur first because WotC threw the equivelant of a corporate temper tantrum. The best part? The bannings have nothing to do with the leak that actually mattered: The entire expeditions...

Except that the judges, if they coordinate, actually have leverage over WotC. WotC can't run tournaments without them.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I realize that Warrior is going to have some advantages with phase one but they still should not be beating other DPS like that, and as I said earlier the rankings don't really change for other parts of the fight.

Is it too much to ask for a Thordan Ex party where the DPS do more damage than the warrior offtank? All of my groups have been one DPS doing 1300, the warrior around 1000, and then everyone else around 850. This is all based off of P1 but the same ordering exists in other phases. Thinking it...

    Kojima launching his own studio

I will add that this is a smart move for Sony. Kojima's tentpole blockbuster games are a better fit with Sony regardless since they are in the business of moving consoles instead of selling games. So even if Kojima only delivers one to two titles per console generation, if he can sell even half...

    Kojima launching his own studio

While I dislike Konami's move towards pachinko and mobile I can't blame them for it, they are a business and it makes money. I am also inclined to believe Kojima is not good at project management. All signs indicate he was over budget and late on delivering. He had already had what, 80 million...

One of my biggest issues with MTG, especially competitive MTG. My personal term for those types is "reddit neckbeard." The only issue is, a lot of them don't have neckbeards.

    Final Fantasy VII Remake

Given Square-Enix's track record with releasing software, I'm actually OK with this contingent on the pricing not being too bad and the gameplay being good. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a more open Midgar to explore? Really though, Square-Enix has issues delivering software* and if episodic...

    Final Fantasy VII Remake

That would make sense, making a videogame engine costs a lot of money. I am quite happy they seem to be modernizing the gameplay. As much fun as it would be to play a fully turn based FF7 in HD, videogames have come a long way in 20 years.

I never said thay they would fix it, I said that if they weren't tone deaf, something I also mentioned, they could easily fix it and gave an example. I worry the game is falling into the same trap as 1.0 where no one told the lead Dev his ideas are stupid. Also known as George Lucas syndrome.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

The expansion is worth it. It's just that the FFXIV team dropped the ball with no content updates for five months and they royally screwed up crafting and gathering. The only big miss outside of the aforementioned is Diadem which is something the developers should be able to easily fix (just...

Still nothing to craft, but you now get 3x the materials for your red scrip turn ins so it's much easier to get fully kitted out. Well, I suppose you can craft the Sky Pirate stuff but it's glamor only. I suspect the main crafting fixes will be coming in 3.2.

It is, but I think they want to hedge their bets on their new block schedule with a popular plane for the block that is being released at MTG's traditional low point (spring/summer). I imagine Liliana of the Veil will be reprinted, along with a few other staples. I doubt Snapcaster will be...

This is a game, where most people do about 15% of their class's potential DPS and make it through all but the hardest raids without issue. So yeah, a few stat points here and their doesn't mean shit.

I should add, if you want to spec, DTK and Origins are good places to look. DTK is the beginning of a block that didn't have a rotation, so its impact won't be fully felt until KTK goes bye bye.

I've done a few leagues with the UB deck and it is remarkably good and can kill out of nearly nowhere. Sidisi's Faithful is just really good with all the Gideons running around. Even if it doesn't end up being tier one, I'd be surprised if it isn't tier one when KTK rotates. The deck does...

The real fun one was a sealed event at PAX Prime in 2013. WotC didn't have enough foil sets of M14 for the event prizes so they sent along a few foil sets of Modern Masters. This being PAX it was regular/casual REL. I participated in a sealed event and played against a guy with two Soul of...

Composter, your argument makes sense except for the part where almost no other retail sector will spike prices on high demand retail product. I am well aware we are in a capitalist society, that is the reason why I am arguing that fat pack price gouging is bad long term business for both LGS and WotC since it will lose them customers. For example I am already reconsidering whether I want to host future game events at Card Kingdom in...

If WotC doesn't do a second (or even third?) printing of fat packs they are stupid since they'd be literally leaving money on the table. Also the LGS that are marking up fatpacks are stupid since this type of price gouging is the kind that loses you customers. The smart ones have it near MSRP...

The system is insane but it will probably be the only way my FC can afford a mansion so I am going to do it. At least I have a massive leg up on my competition since I am now able to offer two star gear for about 3 million per two star MAT required which is the sweet spot to quickly sell.

The removal of Hayter as Snake has been confusing because in Japanese it's the same voice actor. Plus Hayter and Kojima are good friends. I wonder if it was a top down decision from Konami head office to remove Hayter? That or we'll find out Hayter is voicing Solid Snake at some point, which...
