It's an updated TF2 without the horrible item-farm (yet). Game is amazingly fun to play and luckily unlike CS:GO 1 or 2 great players on the opposing team can't entirely carry.

God I cannot get a group for shit on this server. Everyone's always in lower guk, no one wants to leave lower guk, and everything's camped in all the picks of lower guk. And there's like 15 clerics / shamans / druids lfg with never a tank or monk lfg.

Every goddamn chunk. Kojan was brutal about this, especially that island in the middle of the map. Lots of named spawn there, just useless for doing anything because for some reason it was put in the middle of 4 separate squares.

Eh, I like my vector and it's good in a pinch, but for overall useful damage in PVE, nothing really seems to beat a well modded M1A. 500k headshots too stronk.

Eh. DZ grind isn't too bad. Got from 1-31 in an evening just by running a set route in a fairly unpopulated area. Had 5-6 named we were hitting pretty much on spawn--goes fast with a good group, brutal if you're lost in there. Unfortunately I wasn't the one leading :3

They're also not super mandatory if you get DZ50. Picking up the black market AK or liberator early on is helpful, though, and can be attained just by getting your 30 phoenix credits from hard missions for less than a week.

Far, far better off posting on the server chat p99 forums for things like that. And even then, static groups are painfully difficult to find. Mostly just disgruntled or inactive players here :P

Radditsu has the way of it. 90% of the p99 population doesn't give a shit if box is corrupt. Those deep enough into the raid scene...well, it's a great feeling raiding p99. Just don't have anything else going on in your life while doing it.
