For casual group content a couple nights a week, I'll second the Neverwinter suggestion. SuperTurboT fast leveling, 90% soloable with a group dungeon in every area. (I think you can do normal & heroic as well). Quests are all shared too iirc.

Agree, animations are really important. If I am wielding a 2H weapon, I better use both damn hands in game. With all of the dev hype surrounding EQEmote, I am thinking we'll have some pretty cool animations. As long as I can do the butter churn, I'll be happy.

I agree, I want good loot from quests, but I want quests to actually be "quests", not just stupid tasks. I still have dreams about Cazic Thule, and the long weeks of hunting Crusaders with every other SK on my server, for our Sol Ro armor quests. Then the epic quest(s). Thats the stuff I want...

Totally agree. I want a fine steel weapon to be damn nice at low levels, and crafted gear to be the norm as well. It would also be nice if I didn't upgrade my equipment several times a day. I want to have that nice BP for a week or two of playing, not have it replaced 4 times a night like so...

Of course it doesn't add realism; it's a game with dragons, realism isn't a huge priority here. However, one players tedium and stupidity, is another players idea of fun. Odd as it sound, I actually like having to juggle inventory, worry about my food and drink, and other aspects of character...

I'd be all for that, variation/randomness are good. I'd like to see all named bosses be unique, so when you kill that dragon, the lair is empty until another Boss moves in, (Dragon, Orc King and tribe, Horde of Kobolds), but I don't think we'll see that for another decade the way MMO's are...

Kaid, out of curiosity what are you basic system specs...CPU, GFx Card, Amount of RAM ? I've heard prior to the caves that many could run this game at max setting without needing a monster rig.

That crafting image is worrisome. Is it just click and instant make, or is there more to it? I was hoping for a SWG + VG + EQ2 = Awesome crafting system. Any chance at failure, or getting a spectacular result?

It's not going to be incorporated into EQN as a whole; it's going to remain it's own game after EQN launches. They are using it as a test bed for EQN, so things will be incorporated piece meal. Like racial/cultural item design for example.

Did they ever fix the GWF as far as making them wanted in a group. I solo'd to max during "Open Beta", and never hit an actual group required dungeon, because no one wanted a GWF. Hard to keep me interested past the week I played. Plus that was during the crazy AH fiasco that allowed everyone...
