You shouldn't have any problem waiting unless you want to play a Monk (note that you can play as a Panda without buying MoP). Considering how often the expac has been going on sale you're probably better off waiting anyway.

They actually did a pass on the trash at some point and it was still awful. I really enjoyed the Alsbeth fight in RoS. There wasn't enough damage going around that you ever felt like you were in any real danger of wiping, but I always enjoyed executing the mechanics.

There is no hard mode Regulos. There are four hard mode encounters and they are all earlier bosses in Endless Eclipse and Frozen Tempest.

By the way, if you don't currently own the game they've confirmed that you can use a key from 1.0 to register for ARR, so if you can find a cheap copy of that anywhere it might be worth it if the $30 price point is unappealing to you.

Yep. I imagine part of the rollback rage is because of stuff like that -- it's a bug that's been around for alongtime, and it didn't exactly go unreported, either. Also,this admin postdoesn't exactly inspire confidence that the developers understand the full extent to which the exploit was abused.

As someone who played EQ2 but never really EQ1, it makes me sad that I didn't really appreciate things like the chessboard and Unrest the same way my roommate could. I do do still get a hint of nostalgia, though, just knowing that they were in EQ1.

Personally, I like at least having WASD as an option due to wrist issues. Not that I feel it's superior to point-and-click, I just can't do point-and-click for as long as I normally like to play these kinds of games.
