you can't even get paid 'professionals' to fix vg's awful coding. how are you going to get part time people to set up an emu for vg? passion only goes so far.
not that vg hasn't become stale. right now its boring as shit unless you have a static group set up or a super active guild. i'm...
there are always guilds looking for more people. if you're 50+ and returning to the game, i'd recommend just looking through the recruiting folder on the officials and see who's looking for what. as far as exp goes, its sad how easy soe made leveling in this game. the devs recently revamped...
the only way youre going to get past all the 50+ content is to join a decent guild. if youre not in a guild, i'd say thats the first thing you should do asap
i dont think anyone would be willing to share the locs, but i do know that the chests are kind of like harvesting nodes in a given area. i'm not sure how the loot works with the chests since the weapon/armor tiers depend on the lockbox tier.
you mean sod? yea. the grind isn't as long as it was before. a lot of the steps to finish pota have been simplified. but sod/bod are the two primary places you still get slivers from.
vg's been like this for the longest time. although the f2p boxes have supposedly helped a lot. if you want to support vg, then support it. if not, then don't. thats pretty much my take on it. personally, i'm done with multiple subscriptions to the game. if i want to buy something from the...
cave of wonders? definintely not. its for people who've been stuck at 55 with no content aka 90% of the server. if the devs stick to what they are actually planning, cow will require cob to completed. and in order to complete cob you will most likely need to finish your pota gear.
not only is the engine itself old and outdated for current technology, but when the game was coded, a lot of things were done sloppily which is why people say the code looks like spaghetti. devs can put in fixes here and there for bugs, but they can't predict how their changes will affect other...
yea i see what youre saying. basically i use like 4 sites: the telon project which is probably the most up to date and accurate, vgwalkthroughs for the old forgotten horde maps, xanadu for the raid loot db, and sometimes the final resolve guild website for the crafting info. telon project...
there are a lot dungeons that are like this but there's a fair number of unique dungeons that are pretty well scripted. most people these days dont know/ignore because they're just trying to grind to 55 asap
its not that hard to find info. most of the links on this page are maintained.
edit: hm i cant seem to post the link. go to the official forums, and under the newbie yard you'll see a thread called vanguard community site library.
i'm leaning towards hilton.
my question: out of these 4 backs, which should i sit: rice, gore, sjax, or joqiue bell? i'm considering benching gore since he's up against seattle.
