This is a quite nice writeup for a likely very crappy deck.

Blizzard doesn't like combo decks - first it was miracle, now it's patron's turn to get destroyed. Pity because those were fun decks to play and required some skill.

    Witcher 3

This is a slow fucking game. I have played a million hours and i am still only lvl11. Reminded me a bit pace-wise of the original Witcher which was a bore most of the time. I am going to finish it ..someday i guess, but so far while good i think it has been inferior to Witcher 2, which was a...

Rhonin is actually a bad fit for tempo mage imo. Just too slow for this deck and opponents can play around him. Tried him in a bunch of games with not much success and then promptly removed him.

So, new season has started and it's seriously 80% paladins in the ladder. I farmed a bunch of those with my freeze mage, but i have no interest playing the same matchup again and again. Will wait a week or so till the meta settles.

So, Mysterious Challenger is the MVP of TGT's first week. Midrange beast hunter with Ram Wranglers is also a good deck.

    Hearthstone

So far, the only one of the new decks that has impressed me is the Secrets/Mysterious Challenger paladin deck and you might even say it is just an evolution of aggro paladin and not a new core deck.

    Hearthstone

That's StrifeCro's list. This should be good against control, but bad against a strong aggro opening. I've played around a lot with a similar deck and i found it to be marginally winning and not that great, games tend to be super slow also. Priest might look to be the best class for a dragon...

I was about to post that deck. A huge improvement over aggro pally.

    Hearthstone

The meta is fucked right now, almost everyone is playing control warrior and midrange shaman. Absolutely no aggro. I've played a beast druid and a control hunter, both decks seem not good enough, especially control hunter.

I wanted Twilight Guardians for my dragon mage deck, i got them both in the first 16 packs so i'm happy. Let's see what else we get. Edit: Golden Fjola as well at pack #17.

Or with UTH and anything that can do damage on board. It's still too expensive.

    Hearthstone

I am pretty sure that Blizzard's munchkin designer for hunter originally made Acidmaw a 5-cost card or something like that, then Blizzard realised that in no way this should go live and pre-nerfed it to 7-cost.
  22. D

    Hearthstone

Not a top tier deck, it has a ceiling. Maybe good for laddering fast early on, but that's about it. And face hunter is much better at it too. This. Only way i can win against control warriors with freeze mage is if they somehow fuck up using their armorsmiths and get minimal value out of them.
  23. D

    Hearthstone

This. I don't mind RNG cards as long as they provide good value on average. Unstable Portal being a good example of a value RNG card. The problem with the joust cards is that even if you win those let's say at 60/40 the benefits aren't worthwhile to justify their use.
  24. D

    Hearthstone

The Jousters are a bit crap to be honest. This is probably a concept that will fleshed more in a later expansion. I think the big winners so far from this expansion look to be shamans and warriors.
  25. D

    Hearthstone

I have the impression that standard control warrior is still played more than patron in the ladder and maybe this has to do with patron being a bit difficult to be played well by the average player and also the resurgence of handlock and its variants.

    Hearthstone

You can replace Edwin with shade and Thalnos with geomancer in oil rogue. It's a fun deck..when it works (too reliant on having Blade Flurry early).

    Hearthstone

Played some freeze mage today after a long time, went 15-6. It was nice to remember how it crushes aggro decks. The six losses were to 3x control warriors (understandably), one to a druid who drew perfectly up to turn 7 innervate/combo to pop my iceblock and two to some weirdass demonlocks...

    Hearthstone

Meh, i feel that it might slow you down trying to get value out of it. In some matchups it should be a great card though. We will have to see if it finds its way into a viable deck. Poly can sometimes be a tempo killer because you *have* to deal with the sheep. In some cases Flame Lance is...

    Hearthstone

I am kinda disappointed from the mage cards. I can see Polymorph:Boar working in an aggro deck. Arcane Blast looks good, but i still don't know if a spell power deck would be viable. I like Flame Lance also and would likely replace 1x Polymorph in the decks who run it, not that huge of an...

    Hearthstone

do u even ladder bro past rank 10 very few people play aggro pally, it is usually face/midrange hunters, patron/control warriors, new zoo and handlocks, midrange paladins, tempo mages, ramp druids and that's it for the most part. Freeze and mech mages, shamans, priests and oil rogues (even...

    Hearthstone

Aggro paladin is just a shit deck and not worth playing in ladder in this meta, you'll be wasting your time. Midrange pally is just so much better and consistent than aggro pally for laddering and matches well against most popular decks. I'd play it too if i had Tirion.
  34. D

    Hearthstone

Because it is an inconsistent deck and not really a top tier one. Only desperate people play aggro paladin, usually at the last week of the season.
  35. D

    Hearthstone

Miracle rogue was amazing, they needed to just tone it down and not destroy the deck outright with all the nerfs.

    Hearthstone

Unstable Portal has to be the most ridiculously fun spell in the game. Cannot say how many games it has won for me with its crazy draws. Greece - A New Hope

US had its own currency and monetary policy obviously. Greece is trapped in the euro and an exit would quickly add another sharp drop of 20-25% GDP on top of the previous one. At this point i am thinking this should be the better option..reboot and restart.

That the overall recession in Greece has become worse than the US one post '29 and that's saying something.
