    Smartphones

It's a nice phone and all, but watching the presentation they were trying to sell all these repackaged "innovations" as some revolutionary vision of the smartphone for the next 10 years. Of course the hyperbole is to be expected at all these tech releases, but this was a bit much. They wanted...

Word was that Lebron really wanted a Bledsoe / Josh Jackson deal with Phoenix but Phoenix didn't want to part with Jackson. You can understand Phoenix wanting to stay younger because of how ridiculous the west is right now, and even with a Irving / Booker backcourt they may make the playoffs...

Some guy that posted on twitter about a conversation he had with Ainge the day before the trade went down, said Ainge told him the Celtics offered the Nets pick+ for Paul George. For some idiotic reason the Pacers were hellbent on shipping him out of the conference, so they took Oladipo and...

The Warriors core is locked up for 2 more years, assuming Durant opts out and signs a long-term deal next year. Their first challenge in holding it together will be 2019 when Klay becomes a FA.

Could be a great trade for Cleveland. That Nets pick could give the Cavs leverage to try to keep Lebron around after this season by either trading the pick with other assets for another star he wouldn't want to pass up playing with or by simply drafting a guy Lebron might want to play with...

    Stephen King's The Dark Tower

Gf wanted to see a movie, and this was the only thing starting around the time that we hadn't yet seen. We both thought it was ok. Not terrible, not good, just passable for something to do. Kept us engaged at least, and now I have the urge to watch some Wire or True Detective season 1. I...

    Atomic Blonde (2017)

Thought it was pretty f'ing awesome. The action was killer, enjoyed the soundtrack mostly, and the plot keeps you on your toes as you try to figure out wtf is going on. It was a bit overly convoluted, but I prefer that to predictable.

You can't say Kyrie is a "much" better defender than anybody, he's objectively one of the worst defenders in the league. They both are. The rest I agree with. Kyrie is a marginally better shooter, much better at penetration, IT is more adept at getting to the line. Kyrie is great in the...

I don't think the Celtics do that. Kyrie is a bit better but IT just had a superb season and Kyrie is not a prototypical PG. He hasn't shown that he can make the players around him better. Don't see the Celtics giving up a valuable asset for a marginal upgrade.

Agree, the Frey revenge was too easy and fast. But obviously taking out Circei isn't going to be that easy, something is going to stop Arya. Seemed obvious Euron is gonna go find the dragonhorn, only thing that can make Cirsei relevant. Also with regards to the "You can't trust a Targaryen"...

They'll all get plenty of PT. Collecting SF's is fine in today's game since you can throw out lineups with 3 or 4 of em at a time. Jaylen Brown especially seems athletic and big enough that he'll be able to guard positions 1-4 at times.

But that's pretty much been his path to the finals for the past 5+ years anyways. His challenge is no different because Paul George moved from a mediocre Pacers team or Butler moved from a mediocre Bulls team. At least there's still a chance Gordon Hayward signs with the Celtics.

For sure not sold on it either, but its mostly going to be economics and will have little to do with the basketball side of things. The new supermax deals in general seem like they're going to hamper teams from holding 3+ big name stars long term, which should be good for the league. Warriors...
