Daybreak Customer Service just posted raid rules - quoted below.
"Its going to be a DPS race/war. Highest DPS wins."

EDIT: Added more from another reply from DBG CS
""So, KSing is now a thing of the past, or is this just in reference to named or raid mobs?"
DPS wins...
Not having played any other prog server, aren't wizards outclassed by mages? People don't just keep you for ports, do they? Trying to decide on a wiz or ranger - will be semi-casual so think wiz might be better for soloing, but like the idea of ranger for a little tanking before velious.
I wish the Pens would play like this every game instead of every other game. Shame they controlled the period so much, but only 1 goal to show for it. At least the refs are calling penalties this game on both teams.
Lower pop than Nost by a lot, but seems better for mechanics. Played the whole day with no dc's or lag also.
It was a 100% more enjoyable day 2 than Nost was. Respawns seem high sometimes, but better than fighting over stuff. Loot not being broken is great.
Kronos opens this weekend, hopefully it will either be smaller or alleviate the Nost crowd. I'll be moving there and praying the griefers and campers don't want to level again so soon and stay there on Nost.
I love the whole argument about dynamic spawns saying it's not blizzlike. Neither is having 6k people on 1 server. But they won't hear that part.
Waiting 5 minutes or more for a item spawn is atrocious and only one person can click it. I think it took me a good 30 minutes just to get the...
By the time Kronos opens, it might be a welcome break from this server just due to population. I'd be happy if 50% of the people left. There is just too many people, which I know is a weird thing to say, but it's true. They need a cap or a second server. I'd gladly move or even start over...
So, with the first few days of Nost done, has anyone played the Kronos server? What are the main differences? AV being pre-nerf and the 1.4 items seem like all to me (a casual who just looked at both servers).
I think it's been mentioned the 3k number is both sides. So it seems like it could be real. Anyways, it's help up pretty well so far. Fixes take less than 2 minutes of downtime.
Looking around at UI's for the upcoming servers. If I play on a different server (ED/rebirth) to set up my ui, I just have to change the realmlist to the new one and should be no problems, right?
Reddit is now blowing up with "too much loot". People are saying it just respawns instantly in a lot of places. So, when everyone has fun and ammo, is no one special?
I found a great little place somewhere (loc is at home), but it's a little half wall place with a few cars, trailer, dumpster, well, and 8-10 crates. It's north between pleasantville and rancho. Are there other places like this? Seems like a great place for a base as you have wood/water/metal...
Running through the woods about 5 minutes out of Pleasantville looking for sticks, I see a mound of dirt. Someone randomly buried a stash. Looking inside, I found 2 AR15s, 10 M19s, 2 Hunting Rifles and 300+ ammo for each, along with big backpacks, waist packs, metal and wood shacks, IED's, 50...
Does it require you to wait in que though if there is one or does it bypass it?
It does kind of ruin the game though if people just camp with all the best stuff and only go out with a bow to scavenge.
In the 5 minutes it was up, 4 houses gave me a hunting rifle, a 9mm, a combat knife, machete, metal scraps, twine, 3+ peairs of jeans, countless water bottles and food. Along with stuff like cold med, syringes, sugar, salt, ect. No ammo though
So much loot in the 5 minutes the servers were up.
It's like a new game almost I think. Will make dying not so bad if it stays like this. Sure, might be because of fresh server, but hopefully even half of this loot is avail after servers are up for a while.
Some nice patch changes:
Servers will be going down at 2:00PM with an approximate downtime of up to 2 hours. Servers should be returning around 4:00PM Pacific.
The update includes the following fixes:
.Fixed issue with loot rules which were preventing spawning items inside containers...
Are we moving the base? Those other fuckers need punished for all the killing they have done.
Maybe it's too close to the city? I'm not familiar with the area much, so don't know a better place.
Fully decked out with guns/food/ammo/backpacks and was searching a town. Found a guy who I grouped with and we stayed together for about 10 mins. Then he mentions my mic is low. Soon as I hit ESC to adjust it, I got a arrow to the head. Well played.
Trying to decide on Arcadia Quest or Super Dungeon Explore Forgotten kings for a co-op/pvp type game without the need for a DM. Everyone seems split on the 2 brands though. Any one here played either?
Figured this might be the best place to ask - there was a cloth map I. The original box, correct? I've seen paper maps, but remember a cloth original map with just the 3 continents.
Also, does anyone have a idea where I could find one? Looking to buy one for a friend from Christmas and...
All this morning has been nothing but connection issues. Are the servers not up yet? Seems weird I was able to play for a bit earlier, but can't connect now.
