    Indiana...Religious Freedom eh? *sigh*

I knew I'd get pushback on that one. I'll admit to not being well read on this issue but i don't recall any cases where people were outright refused based on their orientation. The issue with a baker near where I live involved putting two male figures on the cake. If the man walked into the...

I agree. I can even understand if a business doesn't want to serve gays. I just think they need to clearly state their allowable clientele so people can decide for themselves if they want give them their business. If you want to only bake wedding cakes for heteros then clearly advertise...

I think I'm a day or two away from canceling. You can blame players like me for the long delay in opening full LFR. Got all my alts Blackhand kills so I've essentially "seen" everything from every class I'm interested in. My tolerance for the retards I raid with is super low that any personal...

Nothing would have changed. The bad guys would have had both sides of the amulet, they would have found the ark, opened it, and melted their faces just like what happened anyway. The only difference is a monkey wouldn't have had to die.

It's not necessarily a faucet or sink, it's just that selling and buying aren't necessarily linked. If the initial price is good and a bunch of people list they may get an inflated selling price compared to the buyer a couple days later who gets a supply heavy price. It could just as easily go...

A quick google says you should get around 30k gold for $15. If they really want to put the gold farmers out of business they can't go much higher than that unless they really sell the "secure" part. With 4 100s basically just doing gold missions I'm getting 10k a week or so. If it is...

So I noticed I'm only getting 1 item per work order even with a 100 follower permanently assigned. The trade chatter this morning made it sound like ilvl now counts too and ilvl600 is now only as good as a lvl95 before. It doesn't personally impact me much as I had tons of mats saved up but...

In the LFG tool there's been plenty of auto accept custom groups for the various garrison quests so at least that part isn't too bad. My two Bracken quests thus far have given grandiose pants and grandiose shoulders. The recipe vendor is crap, hopefully it's like the apexis dailies were at...

I'm not sure what to think of the salvage changes. Yes, war ravaged and blackrock pieces are just junk for my main characters now, but this seems like a huge nerf for anyone behind the curve or new alts. I also don't get the fishing changes. They make satchels BoA so you can gear up your...

I also find myself vendoring a lot more greens rather than DEing compared to previous expansions. Any green over 20g is more valuable as cash than turning into 2-4 dusts.

On days when dust is 20gr you can buy a stack for 800gr. Stacks have been going for around 800g but it's been dropping as more people cap gr.

I think stamina will be better long term. I'm to the point where I only get a handful of non xp missions per day. Cycling through them faster doesn't really do me any good. A couple of stamina followers ensures you can 100% the missions that count.

The only issue, if you could even call it that, on my parked alts is that I didn't keep any followers low level. I stopped getting the lower level missions that give me leveling gear. I'll have a full set of 615+ gear when/if I ever get to 100 but I'll have to rely on quest gear for leveling...

They should make a craftable for like 1000 ore that lets you reroll a follower trait. Would solve the ore problem and help those who got unlucky on random traits. There's already mechanics like this for item random enhancements so why not followers too.

I don't think there's a limit on the number of followers you can have, only the number you can have active. Any followers you gain after 20/25 will just be inactive. You can swap out one follower per day for some gold.

I went far enough in every zone to get the followers and free blueprints. That usually was a good break point anyway since they were on the end of the "main" quest line. I haven't noticed any negatives so far from skipping the outlying quest nodes. For the salvage yard you can do that first...

Now that I have a bunch of my alts up to 92 which seems to be a good breakpoint for garrisons I have some questions. For every trade but enchanting there is a reasonable way to keep materials coming in that keeps up with work orders. Enchanting though I'm having a hard time keeping up with...

I'm sure there's a fair amount of rosy glasses here but I liked the EQ caster model. You had pages and pages of spells in your book but were only able to scribe 8 of them for immediate casting. Make 4-6 of them your core rotation giving you a couple utility/cooldown buttons. If you're hunter...

I'm pretty sure the 80% loss ratio applies to the whole pool, not individuals. Unless you get lucky and your whole group is healthy that year there's no way you're seeing any rebate, especially when insurance companies can count nurse hotlines and internal audits towards the 80%.

On the Monty Hall comment, I want to believe Cochran was saying that just to fuck with Reynold knowing full well it wasn't a real Monty Hall problem. He had the chance to talk Reynold into giving up a known positive with no risk to himself. What really happened I think is Cochran just spoke...

To me the return issue is tied to the DRM. DRM is supposed to be this wonderful thing that ensures you have to pay to play. If you return your copy you can no longer play. The whole no returns on music movies and software is because in a non-DRM world you could install/copy your media with no...
