This movie was great...and almost exactly like a Stephen Baxter book I read years ago. I'd be willing to bet it's the source for this.
Anyway, my take based on that: that wasn't a real black hole but something future humans made to get the information back to Cooper on how to manipulate...
Why is Jax all mad at Pope again? I thought they were buddies last season. I missed why specifically he wanted to get rid of him.
Also, Rat is undercover. Just my hunch.
His hammer is a sentient AI that can manipulate gravity and make value judgments about people's character. Except it's prejudiced when it comes to other robots and always gives them preferential treatment. There you go. Magi-tech.
I was looking away for...the whole episode. How did sheriff flat stomach go from appointed wunderkind to on the take and almost riding dirty in one episode? Also, aren't sheriffs elected and there's a more defined process for replacing a seated one than picking out the clearly least qualified...
Finally was able to stomach through the last five episodes I had saved up. Yep, wtf was the theme at the end there. "Omg, you're beautiful." I threw my remote in anger at that shit.
The script was questionable this last episode. "I can't take ten minutes to see my son right now, busy fightin virus. But I can block out a few hours to go cry at an AA meeting."
But hey, nosferatu and Kevin Durand. Gotta watch.
It's a definite "take a look at this guy" but not a "you're hired!" type of cert. Beyond that, I know when I took all my certs back in the day, CCNA was the one that really actually helped understand the fundamentals of what was going on and that knowledge extended into other areas. Knowing...
This show has gone from cringe inducing to really phenomenally good. Almost one of my weekly favorites. It would be disappointing if it gets cancelled.
This week's episode renewed my faith in the show. I wonder what the machine really wanted them to do with this number? Seems like an omniscient AI could develop the ability to just say, "Hey go do this for me, k thx."
I wish I could meet the sound engineer who works for NBC studios so I could punch said person in the face. Background music is not to be played in the foreground, asshole.
I never watched a pilot where I was actually rooting for ALL the characters to be horribly killed. Usually it's just one or two.
I certainly have never watched the second episode of said show, still hating on the pretty Lord of the Flies morons (I'm lookin at you, wall eyed kid) yet still...
Wow, this was a really great movie, definitely the best of the "young female empowerment" type movies we've been saddled with of late. Despite deep throat, of course.
Irony: Over dosing on heroin while playing a character in a film who is fighting against a system which would encourage it.
I bet google searches for "Marty's father-in-law is involved" cratered about five minutes into that episode. Would be funny to see the real-time stats.
10/10. Show was a real event. Amazing piece of fiction put to screen, and damn if Mcconaughey didn't just win himself another award there...
