    Call of Duty : Ghost

Don't rush to get the PC version, it is terribly disappointing. The game (MP) looks terrible by today's standards. This would have been a good looking game 4+ years ago. There is something about the running animation that just feels off to me. There is no sense of weight, just a floatyness...

    Battlefield 4 (Frostbite 3)

If you move, you will be seen and die. If you don't move, you will be shot by a sniper within .7 seconds (I think the default is 80% of opposing players MUST be snipers). Also, if you kill a player on the opposing team, start throwing random nades because you are going to die within .4 seconds...

    Battlefield 4 (Frostbite 3)

I read that some of the weapons can only be unlocked in the single player campaign...guess you could play that if online is unplayable at launch. source:Not cool, DICE. Not cool... - Battlefield 4 Message Board for PC - GameFAQs

    Titanfall

Way back in the day, I bought the xbox based upon the trailers/ads I had seen for Halo. I never regretted that decision. After watching the gameplay trailer for this game, I am now seriously thinking about getting an xbox one just for this....who am I kidding, I'm getting it.

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

From what I've read, you would be hard pressed to get into bitcoin mining at this point and hope to see a profit anytime soon. You would be better off using the money to buy bitcoins off of coinbase, etc. You might be able to still find a mining profit with one of the other cryptocurrencies.

    NZBMatrix is dead. What now?

Astraweb has a package for 1000g of data for $50. My d/l's vary as well, I'm around 270g of used data and it's been about 8 months for me. In a couple more years when I finally use my 1000g, I'll definitely rebuy!

    Gone Home

I wanted to like the game more than I did. Great idea for a game, average execution. It's not a bad game, but if the strength of your game is going to be the story, you'd better have one incredible story. I found the story to be a pretty run-of-the-mill Lifetime movie. Edit: The thunder...

    Elysium

There were some things I really liked about the movie but overall I was disappointed. Every time I thought the movie was picking up, it would grind to a halt. The movie shows us a bunch of cool looking combat robots just waiting to get shot; some pretty badass weapons, and then what happens...

    something new

I am also a big fan of Spencer/Repairman Jack/Jack Reacher. You might want to check out the Elvis Cole/Joe Pike series by Robert Crais. The Shane Scully series by Stephen J. Cannell are easy reads but he's a cop, not a P.I. If you want to go old school, check out the Travis McGee series by...

A screener is available for those kids cool enough to know what I'm talking about. My Friday night plans have just been set.

    The Meat Thread

I am still getting used to a new grill I bought a couple of weeks ago. My wife and I grill out easily 3-4 times a week most of the year, steaks, chicken, fish, burgers, pork chops, sausage. Anyway, we grill A LOT. Does anyone else get their meat from Omaha Steaks? I am lucky enough to have...

    This Is The End

Worth seeing. I saw a late afternoon screening, maybe 20 people in the theater. I swear, nearly every single one of us ended up in a smokers-coughing fit from laughing so hard. I was disappointed that they didn't do more with some of the cameos they had. Doesn't detract from the awesomeness...

    Betrayed at Work

I cannot believe you fell for one of the oldest interrogation techniques in the book!! "We don't have enough evidence so let's see if we can get the guy to confess!" They had one persons report of what was said. Who are they going to believe, an exemplary long-term employee or an employee with...

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

Has anyone bought shares in one of the ASIC mining pools? I'm wondering how to evaluate the different pools and whether it's better to withdraw or just reinvest the dividends.

    Stalker / surveillance help

This is one of those questions you already know the answer to. It's not even a close call. This is actually a learning moment for you in your relationship. Is your girlfriend the type that can see a potential problem on the horizon and take steps now to avoid it or does she...

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

I convinced the wife that if we invest $1,000 in bitcoins now, we will be able to buy islands next door to each other in 20 years. Yeah, bitcoin is going through some turbulent times, and may continue to do so for a long time. But I just can't see the idea behind bitcoins failing. I'm not...

    WDTV/ Roku Streamers

Glad this thread got active again. I am looking to cut the cable at the end of the month and came to Rerolled to see if I could find anything on it. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Roku + Netflix and PlayOn. For those who have already cut the cable, any advice or pointers you wished you...

    What to buy for $1000

Better off just taking the money and buying the bitcoin now. By the time you get the legendary(vaporware) ASIC, you're 1k will be worth billions, or at least, a lot, well...that's the theory.

    Olympus Has Fallen

6/10...has some good action scenes. I started getting tired of watching the bad guys slap around the hostages after the 583475645 beating scene. If you watch Morgan Freeman, he clearly blinks out "I only did this for the check" in morse code.

    Crysis 3

By virtue of the fact that this AAA release has been out for weeks and we only have one page of feedback says it all. Graphics are good, the bow is fun, the game is....ok. By comparison, Tomb Raider is very much worth checking out. I've never been into the Tomb Raider genre of gaming but this...

    NZBMatrix is dead. What now?

If you are still looking for an indexing site, take a look at this forum: http://sickbeard.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=3 New sites are being created by some of these guys. They appear to want to stay small/under the radar type so I wouldn't expect them to be as good as nzbmatrix was...

    NBZMATRIX Closes

I was just about to post a thread about this. After Demanoid, I thought I was staying one step ahead of The Man by going the usenet route, but I am still reliant on indexing. I will give newznab a shot and see if it's as easy as it appears. As for replacements, I don't know if it's any good...
