I'm not sure how brands will work out in that regard, and I've stopped trying to theorycraft a brand build because of it. If they're like totems and traps, you won't be able to support it with a CoH gem, you'll need to get a CoH corruption or similar mechanic on a piece of gear somewhere.

Which is a problem with Tinkerskin, but not Loreweave. Tinkerskin provides some nice ES recovery, but I feel like the life recovery for Saboteur is more than adequately handled by Pyromaniac, and so focusing on ES just for Tinkerskin I didn't feel was optimal.

I ripped a Tinkerskin + EB trapper at 82 in Incursion, fwiw. EDIT: Loreweave turned out to be like 1000x better in terms of survivablity, who'd have guessed.

Newp, but then you need to figure out how to handle your mana, or buy enough damage in other slots to give up a gem slot for blood magic. And like you said, traps and mana recovery don't go well together.

Tectonic Slam gem info at level 20 makes no sense given what they said it would be. Base damage didn't go up at all, Charged slam went from 18% more damage 100% of the time to 60% more damage 35% of the time which is barely a buff, and if this skill is supposed to come with Impale interactions...

Been playing since close beta in 2013, still have many of the same questions about my builds that you have. The fun is figuring out if it works or not, and the only way to do that is to play what you've designed!

About 250k dps and 6k life can beat the entire game, but there will be many caveats on the defensive portion of the benchmark.

I dunno, my Arc Trapper in Incursion didn't feel anything with trap speed going up or down. I pretty much doubled my trap speed with those temple gauntlets and I couldn't tell a difference.
